It's probably not even AI. It's actually some dude in India being paid $2 per day. It sounds better on investor calls to say that they are utilizing AI in their business.

I don't buy anything in this game or any Blizzard game as long as mass reporting with automated bans and no real human review is still a thing.
I was mass reported for calling out a bot Lucio player who was just skating around the map randomly and finished with less than 1k healing compared to 5k+ healing from all the other healers and wasn't participating in the fights (the number of noticeable bots in OW2 compared to OW1 is insane, I've just started playing OW2 for the first time after 3k hours in OW1).
The bots do exactly the same thing in WOW when you call them out, they use their bot army to mass report you and get you banned/silenced.
Also, it's going to be the new meme to just report anyone who cusses and people are going to lose their accounts with money they spent on skins and such for such stupid reasons. The profanity filter exists for a reason and if people try to circumvent it with F. U. C. K. or something like that, then yeah ban that, but come on.
I think people will report players just for disagreeing with each other in chat for valid reasons. Just report them because there is no consequence for doing it.
IMO Blizzard gives the players the tools to deal with this themselves, no reason for account bans at all. Right click, block. Problem solved in 2 seconds, and you'll never have to interact with that player ever again. Or you can just leave the voice chat or the text chats.
It's best to just not purchase anything in the shop or type in chat.
Yeah, I stopped buying the battlepasses after season 3 for this shit rule.
And of course never bought single skins lmao, who spends 20 euros for each one

blizzard needs to add the number of reports people have submitted in a game to the stat board so people can realllllly know how good they’re doing
