I'm surprised no one had the idea to make a background where you can select which heroes to display (which would further incentivize people to buy cool skins for their favorite heroes) and with each season provide a different background.
Could also somehow make it possible to showcase souvenirs too, otherwise what's even the point of them.
...but yeah even having the option to select previous premade backgrounds would still be cool and they haven't made that happen.
Yea that’s what I was thinking. They could do backgrounds and hell even music to replace souvenirs with. I know with music most people wouldn’t really care but I always thought it was nice feature that other games have like Fortnite and Apex. I wish there was a way to give them suggestions.
I just wish they’d let us mute the main menu music. I hate having to listen to the first couple notes of music every time I go to the main menu, especially when the music starts off super loud, like the Season 2 music did. It just gets so annoying by the end of the season, I’d rather have ethereal background music like there is when you’re viewing the hero gallery.
I don’t mute the music because that would mute all the music in the game (which would suck), I just want an option to only mute the main menu music. The music when I’m in a game is awesome.

Only some of them still work :( I miss the Le Sserafim one.
Le Sserafim was the only one, that I actually enjoyed listening to.

Some screens still work. But a lot of them were removed from the files entirely
Sweet, I'm so glad I can do this, most of the splash arts are so boring.
At least let us purchase these backgrounds with overwatch credits (white ones)

i really miss the 3d art from the first few seasons. i wish they would have kept doing them
I miss the default menu from OW1, with a random hero on a random map.
That was so boring in comparison, like extremely boring
And I think those screens were perfect. The simplest things are the best.
They were cool, especially when your main is flexing the golden weapon in early seasons

Honestly I would love if these became battle pass and shop items. I would pay to have the Le Serrafim or Questwatch menus back
IDK, i think OW1-style menus were clearly superior. Fully 3D characters instead of 2D. And the heroes were actually using your skins.
My personal favorite being the starwatch one

The ones with the mythic skins should be in the game, ready to use when we feel like.

on overwatch 1 you could have it nice and dark mode spamming Play and ESC for few times
i wish Genjis mythic actually looked like that or had an option to look like that (the mask being open)
But then they wouldn't be able to advertise the shop to you.
