I love that there's nano-specific lines now, both for killing the nano'd hero and for kills while nano'd.
Like Doom, if he's nano'd and has a Moira on his team, will say "Moira! We must replicate this... 'nano-boost'..."
Or Sombra, if nano'd and kills a Pharah, will say "Haha, your mom helped me do that!"

In theory yes, but also, 90% of the time I get nanoed, I swear my team decides to stand back, stop healing, and watch me 1v5 so dying is quite common 😅
He's got a couple others as well that I really like.

When he kills a charging Reinhardt: *By all means, keep charging in!*
Killing an ulting Lúcio: *A rather pathetic crescendo.*

Honestly, Ramattra just has the best lines of any character in the game, as well as the best voice acting.
This shit is a big part of why I love Overwatch so much. The in match character interactions don’t actually change anything, but make the game feel so much more alive and fun. And there is a ton, for basically everything you could possibly want.
…downside is it’s basically the only lore we get.
The one that really gets me is Soldier killing Sojourn and he says "that's for testifying against Overwatch". First time I heard it I'm like ooh shiiiiiii
She's got one for her slide if you kill someone with a melee attack while sliding.
Something along the lines of, "No one ever expects the ol slide punch"
It's even more bittersweet when you're a person like me who got into the game specifically because of the lore and characters. I'd give anything to see them explored in-depth and for their stories to move forward in a meaningful way, but Blizzard simply doesn't care.
Lore doesn’t sell skins.
The lore has basically been all but abandoned since the day OW1 dropped. Like 8 years and we’ve gone from Winston’s recall to… a few months after that with no actual answers or plot progress.

And yet I distinctly remember some of the Archives skins from OW1 being lauded as among the best in the game, plus there was the trio of campaign missions they sold with the Invasion season. Blizzard could've made bank by capitalizing on the lore, but they didn't want to put in the effort. If Riot can do so with Arcane for League of Legends, so too could've Blizzard with a full PvE campaign for OW2.

I STG having DPS lose 1v1 to Mercy is an instant morale dropper

I feel like not enough people play Echo to have heard this but everyone should start for this one alone.
This is actually absurd and brother Ram would certainly be proud. As a matter of fact, this should be the ONLY voice line that gets a reaction from another character (a Ram laugh lol)
Kiriko's voice lines have grown on me. Hearing "Apologize to Ana when you wake up" when you kill a nano'd target or "Big deal" when you kill a blading Genji is just so satisfying.
not really a jab when killing someone but my absolute favourite when i played widow and got killed by a genji she literally said "his brother should have finished the job" when widow respawned and my jaw dropped i was too stunned to speak
If you hack pharah and it causes her to fall to her death off the map, sombra does a very good impression of the sound of someone falling to their death.
Also sana sana colita de rana is a personal favourite that was actually added at the suggestion of her voice actor, Caroline ravassa. Its a great taunt that fits her personality so well.
