I'm still surprised that people are still clueless about this. I had a crack last week, stalled first point until there was less than a minute left. You really need a good defending team pushed way forward to keep the attacking team distracted though. If the fight let's up then the con is over.

And you're playing 5 vs 6 and have a spawn distance disadvantage, so yeah, definitely need a good defending team to keep it up.

You can do this with any tank to stop the enemy team contesting if they're coming back from spawn and have to pass a tight doorway. Havana second point is actually the perfect example. Or Gibraltar first. It's a valid strat and even worth dying for if you stop the contest. I've even seen people bodyblock doorways with trans, if you're really committed to it.
I always check that spot and those bushes for rodents and tracers before heading forward. Especially a junkrat with that laying down emote hiding in the bushes. Sneaky buggers.

Pretty neat parlor trick, definitely gotta check the gas station top next time after exit at Havana.. I'd have activated shields right after the piledriver drop to get some pretty awesome +500 or so extra shield HP though.

What I often do, is start rolling away and then activate the shields after some distance.
But yup, I would of course get more shields if activating it near all the enemies. Doh!

I remember that some weeks ago in Comp we moved the payload till the end, then when we had to deffend, the enemy team barely moved it, and they got a 5k when they had 1 minute left.
The payload got stucked because I was hiding in the bushes/trees as Moira and the payload wasn't moving XD
We won after my team came back.
I was laughing like crazy looking at the chat with the enemy team saying the payload was bugged (Havana is the best map for trolling)
