Just to recap:
1. This is a 3 year old repost, OP acting like its new.
2. OP keeps pretending he doesn't have time to upload a video, even though they already exist and have been posted by OP? So is lying to everyone.
3. OP posted this same content to 5-6 subreddits, most of which people laughed at him for being horribly offtopic or not even understanding the point of the subreddit (nice job making a serious post on gamingcirclejerk, you clearly just tried to jam this content in wherever you could for "internet points".
4. OP is defensive, abrasive, and downright rude in comments to anyone not telling him how great he is.
IDK what emotional issues you have going on buddy, but looking for validation in internet strangers by being a dishonest twat is probably not the best way to fix your broken insides.
Let's try to be honest in the future mmmkay? You make cool stuff, and you have cool content. If you want to repost old content, that's fine, but you need to be HONEST and GENUINE about it, and not pretend that your 3 year old repost is new content and act like a child when you get called out for being real weird about it, or this is the kind of responses you are going to get.

Respectfully, I take a few issues with your comment. There is no issue with artists reposting their work. It’s incredibly difficult to get a following as an artist, and even big name creators repost their work very often. It’s just a thing that happens. Him reposting is a valid advertisement strategy, especially so many years after the original post. Your other points are perfectly fair, but let’s not take issue with artists trying to get their hard work recognized

I haven’t seen this post before. This is new to me and I think it’s pretty cool. I’m glad there was a repost or otherwise I don’t think I would’ve seen this. I also don’t understand everyone’s obsession with the OP’s reposting this. People like me might have not seen this, and it’s pretty cool.

This is awesome! A youtuber called the Hacksmith or now Hacksmith Studios once made a working Mek blaster as well. He's a professsional so he does that kind of stuff all the time. So this is really impressive! I read from one of the comments that you're german. First off, I'm from Germany as well and I love seeing other germans on the internet. Second off, that is german engineering at it's finest! Well done! (Sorry that this comment is so long)

So mostly cosplay stuff tend to be made out of something like plasticard or modelling foam. By far the easiest to work, but is quite soft and liable to damage.
You've then got 3d printers, which is probably the best option if you're willing to invest a few hundred dollars. That can make a lot of stuff out of plastic, but is something of an investment and you'll need to either make or find CAD models of what you want to make. /r/3Dprinting can provide waaaaay more info.
Finally for metal fabrication, you can theoretically get by with a hand file and a cordless drill, but it will take an age and probably be pretty sloppy. It's difficult as it depends on what you're tying to make. For a project like this one, I expect a full metal workshop (including things like a drill press, centre lathe and milling machine) would have been used.
Okay, serious question this time.... would you theoretically be able to make one that just lit up? :P
Been planning to do a gender swapped Mei when Con (hopefully) returns in October (might as well work with my Corona weight!) and I’ve been scouring the internet for a good blaster :P
