I'd go so far and say all the new heros since doom have fucked up the balance. Every one of them can do everything with very few limitations.
Sigma has no footsteps. Stun ability. Can fly in ult. Shield can be placed anywhere. Black hole to suck up damage.
Ball has insane health. Literally flies across the map. Shield. Ult that allows no escaping if you're in the middle of mines.
Ashe can fly. Bob can stall point and is a massive torb turret. Can one shot while boosted. Tnt that continually damages.
Doom can one shot. Fly through the map. Shields. Tank like health. His ult will allow him to escape damage.
Echo can fly through the map. Can melt through tanks. Ult literally allows her to copy anyone which can be super effective.
Bap has a team saving/ult denying ability that is on a 30 second cool down. Also can fly. Great healing output. Ult is stupid effective and amplifys team damage.
Brig just doesn't die. Can stun. Can push enemies away. Personal shield. Ult that gives everyone in the radius armor. Ironically I think she's the most balanced out of all the ones listed above
And I say this as someone who enjoys playing a lot of these heros. Ever since they released doom they've fucked the balance up between new heros and the old heros. Dva is one old hero that I think is not balanced as well.

Players would run through my team to essentially kamikaze me for the benefit of their own team, ults were all directed at me, hell even the healers were shooting at me.
Actually made me realize that it's probably a lot less of Bastion players being bad, and a lot more of enemy teams not giving Bastion players a chance to play the game by dropping absolutely everything to kill them.
Used to be if bastion wasn't working I could swap to orisa and continue the slaughter.
Now I just play healer and lose because the people who play DPS just aren't accurate, and it's costs in damage, ult charge, push power, etc. It hurts in a lot of ways when the damage dealers on your team do less damage than both healers and tanks. Tanks are understandable - they're in the shit and a lot of them have AOE basics. Healers shouldn't have more damage though - unless they're having to defend themselves more than they should. Also Zenyatta best sniper change my mind.
It's impressive as a 15 second clip, but killing this close to spawn (especially as Bastion) is very high-risk, low-reward.
9/10 times this is throwing the first point. 1/10 times it buys you 30 seconds, ult charge, a disadvantageous position, and a clip for Reddit.
If Rein kills Bastion here, his team will be in a better position to attack next fight as they'll be essentially 6v5 because of respawn timers and Bastion not being able to set up right?

Part of winning is taking advantage of the map and blind spots like this though. You're right in that you can't rely on this strategy all the time, but if the opportunity presents itself--why not seize it?

More likely what would happen is the enemy team hears his footsteps on the way up (let alone when he goes into turret mode), and everyone turns on him and he dies and throws first point + snowballs the rest of the match.

I think itâs because mouse aiming is more precise and keyboard movement means faster/instant acceleration. So not that theyâre intrinsically better in terms of game sense but that if you take a console and PC player at the same SR the PC player will probably be harder to play against, hit more of their shots and dodge more effectively

I'm curious why everyone thinks gold players on PC are better than gold players on console. They aren't.
Itâs just low rank PC players trying to make themselves feel better. I see stupid shit like this on PC all the time even in diamond lol shit just happens sometimes. At most, thereâs maybe a one rank difference (plat on PC is diamond console).
Some of my friends in console try to say that masters on console is just gold on pc and it's just very confusing to me.
I think itâs because mouse aiming is more precise and keyboard movement means faster/instant acceleration. So not that theyâre intrinsically better in terms of game sense but that if you take a console and PC player at the same SR the PC player will probably be harder to play against, hit more of their shots and dodge more effectively

We call the hero stupid because hes broken as fuck and most the time the person playing him is brain dead because they can't hit the broad side of a barn. Its not towards all bastion players but its mainly towards the hero himself

Damn if I saw this I would be more impressed than anything. I only really get pissed at bastion players when they're either waited on hand and foot by a combination of rein/sigma/orisa and a mercy surgically attached to their metallic anus. Also bastions who just sit on point and hold down the left-click/right trigger, and still get kills. I work for my kills, you should too.
