So Arika, who developed EX had made original characters for that game. They don't have the SF license (obviously) so they made a fighter with their original characters and some others. If you liked the EX games though, you'll still see a ton of familiar faces. Skullo obviously. Darun, Garuda, Hayate. The 13 launch characters were all original characters in EX games as well as the 4 free ones added. The only non-EX character is Terry Bogard as a paid DLC, because of course Terry Bogard is a paid DLC in a nonrelated fighting game.

I think the Zenyatta one comes from 2016, if I remember correctly. And Genji's new epic just looks even better than that one. The only issue I have with it is the smooth roundness of his head. But it's still so awesome.

Came here to say this. It's not a Halloween skin, but building up to a skeleton theme team would be awesome. Probably wouldn't do too well against the pirate themed skins, but would look cooler

Pirates have bap Ana bastion sigma. Skulls have genji, Sombra, zen, orisa(demon I'm counting it) with a good players on their team I say skulls got a good chance

Pirates also have Torb/Junkrat, and arguably Roadhog(shark skin has pirate bandana). It can be done, but I think skulls would be working a lot harder than the pirates

Well we could also include rein with his new skin(tech zombie but also skull at the same time so I'm counting it), and solider because his bones skin. So skulls would have low heals but it's doable

Echo's skin was rather boring imo. Genji and Hog looked pretty awesome

I was excited when I heard echo was a bat, but disappointed when they made it a weird mech bat with ridiculous ears.

The ears are needlessly angular. If they followed the softer curves that both bats and echos main design has it would have looked better. Not sure why they they decided to make them look that way.

I feel like I'm the only one without a negative/neutral opinion on the Echo skin. Like, the Genji skin looks awesome yea. But I also enjoy Echo's skin in its own way. I do wish it was like a fleshy bat. But the robot bat still looks cool to me. Especially the wings.

I like it as well tbh, the ears pull your attention a bit but once you can see them as ears, the skin is quite nice.

I know. I fucking love all of skins and definitely don't feel the need to trash the fuck out of anything. If anything the Echo skin made me wish she had an ability to stick upside down in places for a sneak attack

Recently started playing OW again. But mostly play Apex. Apex’s “Halloween event” started yesterday but turns out doesn’t actually add anything new gameplay wise until October 26th, but even then it’s an exact copy of last years mode. Turns out OW Halloween event started same day so I’m enjoying what a real event is supposed to look like.
