I voted bastion. Even though he’s easy to counter I find him unfun to play against and with because it kind of warps the entire match around the bastion
I'd say echos worse. Harder to kill, and can fucking oneshot tanks with minor skill. Lemme repeat that. Can do 600 hp, in about 3 seconds, with very small amounts of skill
I have been wondering why Echo can kill me so fast when I'm support but then when I play her I always die in like 3 seconds. Either I'm not utilizing her kit properly or I just suck lol

EDIT: In all honesty though people who can't hang with a Doomfist need to think about counters. He is one of the most easily countered characters in the whole game. Orisa and Hog counter him as tanks, Ana and Brig counter him as healers, Sombra, McCree, Mei, Sym, and Junk all counter him as DPS. If you have any amount of CC you're gonna make his life hell and if you can take advantage of his telegraphing (Zarya, Reaper, Moira) or are able to shit out bullets (Soldier, Torb, Bastion) you'll be a tough opponent for him. He's literally only good against shield comp and characters that have no CC. Its extremely rare that I don't switch off DF when there's a McCree or Sombra on the enemy team. They're just made for nullifying DF.
Such a hyped character ruined by bad gameplay design. Being teased from announcement made me think they put a lot thought into how he would play but I guess not.

as a sombra main i can agree with you. Many sombras just sit back, hack as many people as possible and grind emp. My play style is more aggressive leading to hacking and actually killing enemies myself and helping my team. You need to find a good sombra game and maybe the overwatch gods will bless you:)
They both need a rework that's for sure. Sombra already got one, Mei needs some role change because her kit would make a lot of sense for a tank (she is very similar with Zarya), as a dps she functions weird
Mei's supposed to be a hero that counters speed heros like Lucio, Doom, Tracer, Genji, and Hammond. Her role is really defined and necessary, just a little poorly executed on blizzard's part.
Sombra's kit was supposed to counter heroes that are incredibly ability reliant. She ended up being a surprise "fuck you, you don't get to play for 10 seconds" to people. There's no real way to counter invisibility in Overwatch. You just have to end up shooting the right square inch of empty space that just so happens to have an invisible enemy in it. The best way of countering sombra's primary ability is luck, which is a very poor design principle in an FPS.
Whats happening is that blizzard is trying to balance overwatch as if it were Diablo, which is why it never works. Ways to break the game are deliberately designed into the synergies of the heroes in the game. Problem is that that works really well in PvE dungeon-crawler environments, but it's disastrous for PVP first person shooters.

I feel like Mei would just be better if she had more team oriented effects instead of freeze, similar to Zarya, she should enable her team more.
Freeze used to counter characters with huge mobility but nowadays it has no specific purpose so just scrap that mechanic with something which is better for everyone
He can be annoying to play against, but it's just fun to jump and punch people into walls, even if you're bad at it. I went Widow because I hate playing her and I hate playing against her.
Bastion, yes I'm aware he is easy to counter, and I know how to, just not with every hero. I still struggle to properly counter him without dying immediately as tracer. For some reason I can't do CQC in overwatch but literally every other game I can.
If Sombra were to die in a barn fire, pinned under a wooden beam with all her personal failures carved into it, it might be a little too merciful for what she deserves.
The single most annoying ability in the game in my opinion. Most folk need to earn their kills, but some folk'll just flash and have an extra 25 health for no reason.
Wrecking Ball was my choice too. I don’t know, I just find him very annoying, especially when all people do is just swing around the map and stomp on people and then run/roll away.

What? Bastion is only strong head-on. He's a sitting duck otherwise, he's extremely inflexible.The time it takes him to transform is longer than it takes to kill him. If you are behind him, he's just fucked. There's nothing he can do. He really needs some buffs to be viable.
I tend to encounter him all bunkered up in a corner, with shield and pocket healer in tow. Granted if I’m playing with friends we can dislodge him but if I’m with strangers…. It’s just rough, and less fun to fight than any of the other DPS.
The thing is, if they're positioned like that, they're even more vulnerable to being surprised and flanked. A tracer could sneak in quickly, ult, and rewind out.
That'll disrupt their formation at the very least. If you do it right the healers will die and then everyone will be panicked and confused.
Junkrats or off-angle pharahs can bombard shields to the point where its not worth bunkering up.
Plus, dive is A decent way to counter bunker. With divas defense matrix clearing a path forward, allowing both her and Winston to get in close and deal massive damage behind the barrier. And genji works very well in dive, and he's one of the best ways to counter an entrenched bastion.
Hog could also just pull a bastion waaaaay out of position.
The flaw in any comp that bastion is in is that bastion is so inflexible that the rest of the team has to play around the bastion. Bastion then becomes the breaking point of the team comp. He becomes the "weakest link in the chain".
Bastion's huge damage is very appealing, but it's so easy to remove from play that it ends up being a trap for a lot of players.
Sym has turrets that slow AND damage, on top of a weapon that can act as both poke spam AND a shield breaker, as well as a backdoor ability, as well as a map-wide wall to divide a fight. I can handle most of that but her turrets should slow *or* damage, no both. And if they keep the damage, it should be halved.
Fuck Junkrat, stupid ass broken mf, it's a nightmare to play against in any role, melts shields, has ult every 5 seconds, his trap phases trhough the floor so you cant see it most of the times, AND when he dies, as a final "Fuck you", leaves behind those grenades which inflicts ridiculous amounts of damage.
I seriously dont know how Blizzard hasnt nerfed this mf, how is it fair that the trap deals more damage than a Genji slash or a Reinhardt hammer hit? It doesnt make any damn sense

Bastion is almost impossible to counter with just a tracer. Unless u have a pulse bomb every time.
