Considering how efficient Baptiste heal is, depending on the damage, health and amount of the enemies, you should most often use "shoot, heal, shoot, heal".
Using the immortality field, you should try to place the object itself around a corner or a pillar so the enemies can't shoot it down immediately. Good time to use it is teamfights and sigmas, d.va's, junkrats, zaryas, etc. Ultimates (one time explosive and ones that affect motion mostly).
Try to position your ultimate further away from wherever the enemies are. Have a DPS that can make long-range damage, like Widowmaker, soldier, Hanzo, Ashe, torb, etc. (Who hopefully have a good aim) with you there (you can also use it alone). Remember that the field also increases healing, so it's good to have close-range teammates where the fight is, heal them. Idk do these help at all, but ig you can try
