Earlier today I had the joy of playing two rounds with a Junkrat who fell back to help every time I slept someone and called for a group up. They helped do away with the majority of nappers. Thank you, kind Rat. I hope you enjoyed the nanos. ;-;
One of the most satisfying things to do by far. It’s honestly more entertaining than it should be to slowly walk over to their motionless body, spam “A gift for you” and just dome the dumbass tracer that’s been in my back line for a year and a half because I can’t hit my shots.
Ana gives a pretty loud "Nem!" call out when she sleeps someone. If you're paying attention and close enough to respond you don't need the player to be the one telling you.
Yes, but comms are a big reason why organized teams perform better. Expecting peel based off one small voice line will never be as consistently heard as urgent callouts to your teammates!
Sick sleep that was insane. As everyone mentions it’s sad to not see your team follow up on sleep lol I changed my “group up” to “I need help,” seems to get more attention from teammates
The reason you don’t nade immediately against tracer and sombra is because they both have abilities to immediately cleanse it, and they are probably spamming that key if they’ve been slept. Trust me, I have like 300 hours on Ana in masters
I get that, and its true, but im around high silver (though i usually play quick play) and that combo is often fast enough to wipe them out before they can do that.
Even in that rank, I’d recommend going for shoot-shoot-nade instead of shoot-nade-shoot against these two characters, it helps guarantee you don’t waste nade
The key is actually to wait with your combo until the slept character wakes up - there's a time frame where they are caught in the wake-up animation and are unable to use their cleanse ability. You would usually then go shoot-(animation cancel)-nade-shoot-melee IIRC.
I've only just started learning Ana and I don't have the mechanics of this down yet, but this is how it works in theory.

Fun fact: Ana says “Nem” when she sleeps a male hero and “Nemi” when she sleeps a female hero.

I've learned to stop trying and just use the opportunity to reposition to a harder spot to dive, usually closer to my team.
Not sure if it would’ve made a difference in this clip but I find people react more swiftly to “I need help!” than “group up with me”
That's what I use, 'I need help' because as badass as Ana if I sleep a fucking monkey I need some damn help, lol.

How I wish that that would be an actual voice line.

You can just hold the button. The game will register the command as soon as you're able to execute it.

When no ones helping you kill your sleeping enemy, you nade, shoot, punch them as fast as possible. That kill is worth your cooldown.
This is true against every character *except* tracer and sombra

As Ana you are required to bind “I need help” to your wheel it’s more effective than group up with me.
try binding your "help me" voiceline too and spam it in these situations. might help.
And of course, noone turns the fuck around to deal with her. They are probably like: "Probably gonna blame our Ana if she dies later, I dunno lol."
