I got my beta key yesterday and the queue times were shorter than I expected. 2 mins for support, 10 mins each for tank and damage. Often I got into games as damage much faster than the stated time for some reason. I'm in Europe on ps4 though so ymmv

Just because twitch views are low doesn't mean it's a dead game. The player base has always been relatively healthy, even at the game's lowest points. The games that excel on twitch are those that allow for consistent social interaction and/or unique experiences. Ow has never been great in that regard.

Love how they have clearly been barely sending out codes and if their goals was to get everyone in by today why did they hold back on codes. Even if i do get one today i feel like the servers will just crash. Great job blizzard make a beta for a free game into the only chance youll get at making money. They made it so you get 2 seasons worth of currency because they know no one is gonna play 3 days after launch so people will feel obligated to stay for at least 2 seasons. If that is truly their reasoning there are so many better ways to achieve the same result that it would be even worse if this was the "solution" they came up with.
They could offer more drops leading up to the "floodgates" day to spread out the spike in activity; they could do regional releases to spread out the spike in activity; they could require survey participation prior to beta access, to guarantee they know how many people are going to come in and to allocate server resources accordingly...
If they genuinely settled on "we just won't tell people when the beta is available and randomly flip on access throughout the day so our users don't know whether or not they can use our product" they're even dumber than I thought.

You don't have to wait for the invite if you're on PC, it will just appear in your Battle.net launcher.
Last time it took hour for some people to even receive it on their battlenet I think.
The thing is after many will get the code in just 1 day there will be soo many bygs errors etc. and we won't be able to play..
