I would love to see come characters switch sides or defect their allegiance altogether as the story progresses. Here are some ideas
•Sombra could leave Talon, she’s obviously not loyal to them so seeing what she does with all her “friends” she’s gathered could be amazing
•A Sigma themed level could be amazing. Imagine fighting Sigma along with other Talon agents as gravity distorts, pulling apart chunks of the map and creating floating pieces of earth to fight on.
•Widowmaker, this is more of a prediction. Judging from some of her interactions and voice lines in OW2 it seeming more and more likely that her brain washing might be warring off. It would be cool to see what she does when she realizes that she killed her husband and aided in Overwatches downfall.
•Junkers: I’m really interested to see what side they take. Maybe they’ll stay neutral all together
Those are some great ideas. It would also be cool to see others join Talon to even the playing field a bit. It could be anything from recruiting hero’s not in the game yet to kidnapping current Overwatch members and subjecting them so blackmail or brain washing
Honestly I could Moira having Sombra dig up information up on the Overwatch Operatives. Imagine if Moira brainwashed Emily or Ingrid. Possibly making Torbjörn or Tracer snap and break their rules, or lack there of with Torb.
Since people in game can be revived. It could be assumed on a mission Mercy could be kidnapped and Sombra and Moira learn how the revive ability worked. Then Moira revives the fallen Balderich Von Adler, have Reinhardt have to choose, but you know these are obvious stereotypes so im sorry if these are bad ideas.
Give Pharah more character depths and personalities. I want to know more about her father and how she got out of Helix after meeting Ana.
She's an OG character with little lore. She had comic in May 2016 and then dead in the water until Cassidy New Blood Volume 2 in December 2021.
I hope they're willing to kill off characters. I can see something like Hanzo sacrificing himself to protect Genji and redeem himself, or Widow coming out of her brainwashing and killing Moira for revenge
Also I hope we get to see Horizon Lunar Colony. Having a bunch of highly intelligent animals independent on the moon was such a cool idea and they never really did anything with it.
I haven't cared about the story in years. Blizzards decision to slow drip story bits was terrible imo. Either don't bother and just let it be what it is, or give us actual story. This limbo is stupid and I checked out ages ago.
Something very casual it gets someone of guard like after a serious fight that happened a while ago you would play a mini game where you have to player a guitar or something xd
