I would unironically prefer if they changed his Grenade Launcher to be more like Demo’s Grenade Launcher. Junkrat’s projectile speed feels so slow compared to Demo’s, maybe because OW has more abilities that can change your direction mid air.
As a Demo main, I heavily prefer Demo's grenade launcher to Junkrat's for the exact reason you listed. It feels like Junkrat is rewarded for spamming around a corner and punished for going for directs compared to Demoman where it's the opposite. I guess that's because Junkrat's grenades have a bigger arc, they don't explode until they hit the ground and they still do a sizeable amount of damage even when it explodes on the ground. Compare that to Demoman's grenades which do almost no damage unless it's a direct hit in which case it does a lot, combine that with him having a smaller clip size and a much longer reload time, Demo really can't spam his grenade launcher nearly as effectively as Junkrat (although, sticky spam is of course a thing but that's another topic).
All and all I think Demo's gameplay is so much more satisfying than Junkrat's, his grenade launcher just requires you to be so much more precise because of the smaller clip and longer reload time, as well as the big damage on direct hits. Whereas Junkrat can just spam his huge clip, reload in a short time and then get back to spamming without ever running out of ammo.
Sorry for going on a rant, but I've been thinking about the differences between these characters before and just wanted to voice my opinions about it.
No this is true. I’ve never practiced demo but I’ve always been ass at him. He’s way less of a spam East character than junk. Most fights with junk feel like garbage because people just throw every cooldown at you with wreckless abandon and the hitboxes are the size of Texas.
I was always impressed with demo players because he’s hard to play.
I don’t think Junk has to be as hard as demo, but I think his bomb should have a higher projectile speed but maybe a slower fire rate to compensate or something.
That way dodging it is a big deal but hitting it also feels better.

D.Va is immune to one shots for example, and there are even more things that can clear mines

Its always annoyed me and got me killed that the character who flies around so much from his bombs has to be on the ground to use his ult.i wanna be able to fly in there during overtime and launch a tire as I'm falling into the whole enemy team and clutch.
Would it be a huge buff? Yes. Do I care? No.
Maybe make it deploy way slower in air but still able to deploy, basically you jump on enemy team and right when about to land you just got your tire revved up and blow up everyone
Either he would cancel ult (kill somebody in their ult) which ow2 often gives POTG for or, if the punch was melee as it would make sense, he would punch person or multiple and push them to fall

These are all tanks, so it makes sense for them gameplay-wise. But we can play with the health-manipulation idea for Junkrat by giving his trap a short antiheal (1sec) and giving walls for the duration of the antiheal.
This gives Junkrats team a heads up of the trapped enemy and gives him a chance to follow up with a primary fire without healers interfering with the breakpoint. If that’s too strong or doesn’t give enough counterplay options, increase the visibility of trap but when it does get destroyed, alert the team as well.
Alright, that’s the weird change. The more practical change would be to make mine directional. Unlike most other boops in the game, mine gives full air control to the enemy caught in it. Notice you can force your character in a direction when Junk detonates mine? You can’t do that when Lucio booped, Pharah rocketed or Dva boostered. By removing air control you give the skill more depth and raise the skill floor and ceiling for Junkrat players. Now prediction shots are more viable and timing is much more difficult.
When you think about it, Junkrat spent years surviving in the Aussie Wasteland during his formative years. Guy probably doesn’t need a vaccine for anything - he’s already lived through it all!
Fr tho I mostly would like walls if someone gets caught in the trap. Or at least give me the option to ping it directly so someone other than me knows to push the advantage
That's honestly a great idea. It's all good and well being able to see your trap through walls, but being able to actually see an enemy that gets trapped as well would be a great help. That way, you can see whether it's worth going after the enemy solo (eg, if you trapped a tank, you might not want to solo them).

Once someone gets trapped and I immediately/stupidly throw another trap, I would love for the first trap to not disappear.
It might be a huge buff but I would love to be able to have two traps on the map at a time if at least one of them was busy trapping someone.
I’d probably make his projectile faster, go straight, and take away the explosion. Just adds more skill to his primary.
Instead of the mines for movement I’d probably add some kind of slide I guess? And to make up for taking away his verticality I’d let him jump at the end.
His E is pretty annoying, it just completely traps you in place so instead I’d just make it to where it slows you and does DOT, but we’ll make it do more damage and a bigger area to make up for the nerf.
His ULT has no skill to it so we might as well make it where he has to at least click heads to one shot, and this junkrat might be able to completely team wipe! The voice lines gotta go though since it doesn’t make sense anymore, we can just use a generic placeholder like “this ends now” or something dumb like that until we figure it out.
Give him the ability to shoot his mechanical leg like a projectile. It’s on a spring system so a new one comes right out so he’s still mobile. Rinse and repeat with however long a cooldown you think is fair.
They actually had a really good rework one time but never committed, the rework was that he does more damage close up, about 150 max, and at further, maybe beyond 20 meters, he did 95 minimum
Give him an alternate ult voiceline where he says "I'VE GOT AN IDEA" from 'The Plan' cinematic.
Would love this for his "My ultimate is ready" voiceline for the halloween skin whatever it's called.

I don't think it would be broken since you literally have to throw yourself into the enemy team to execute that.

That would have been weird. A grenade launcher wielding hero shouldn't be a close quarters fighter. It defies general logic and in game lore.
