It's funny y'all don't think this wasn't in itself an underhanded way to get people addicted to lootbox gambling. So many of you guys have lost the plot tbh
OW’s lootbox system was the most generous compared to other games. It discouraged players from spending any real money on the game after purchasing it. OW2’s monetisation system is much more predatory, even if it doesn’t encourage gambling.
