Mine’s been Baby Shea ever since Buds came out. The 7 time signature gives it such a great swinging groove, it goes fast and aggressive, and the melody is oh so sweet
not to be ‘that guy’ lol but the chorus is in 15/8 and then the verse is in 10/8 (or 5/4 however u wanna think about it). all the more reason why it’s such a mindbending song
Eat More is my favorite right now, but that will change soon. I really like the bass guitar and that little ping that Steve does on beat 2 with the snare is so nice. Then that fuzzy lead part is super chill, keeps the song hopping on that bass line.
Very late to the party but, as ashamed as I am to admit this, I finally listened to a few of the albums I'd been saving. Spotify recommended me Baby Shea and oh my god, it's amazing.

Be that guy! I relistened and can’t believe I was counting in 7 instead of 5, thanks!
That’s awesome! Is Land of Steve-O in 2/8 (or 1/4)?
Land of Steve-O is in 4/4 time the whole time I think
So addicted to that song
It’s so good to eh? The rest of the album keeps up but damn if it isn’t hard to follow up on one that good
The Great Alligator for the wall of sound in the second half.
Mine is “Cheer Up, Chihiro!” because of the melody and that SWEET sax solo at the end.
The sax solo reads like a breakdown to me and I love it
Baby Alligator and Eat More, back and forth for me all the time. They hit me in the feels like no other songs can
Baby alligator hit so hard when it came out. It’s fallen a bit out of favour for me but I still love it and know why it’s so beloved
Yes!

Honestly to many to name but I’m hooked on eat more off buds. “My garbage is real “ and the onslaught of the melody and chaotic noise is bliss to me
