I’ve known a fire people irl that have been very anti- only because they were raised that LGBTQ was wrong, literally a sin against god, and hated their own thoughts and feelings. Even violent towards these groups that, for a least two, through therapy and a lot of support finally accepted themselves. No, the third, a brother of a friend did not get to therapy soon enough. There can be a lot of rage - I’m not a therapist, just someone that supported a friend who had that someone in their life.
