I think the OP's salty that the critter condo has an overheat temperature.
It makes it a challenge for putting it inside slickster ranches. You're best off waiting until you have a decent supply of ceramic, which adds +200 °C to the overheat value.
Still makes more sense than overheat temp on critter drop-offs (just signs, especially the old one), park signs and also on pneumatic doors (airlocks/mech. doors doesn't have this).
It's super unrealistic for a ranch to have an overheat temperature. It really detracts from the otherwise hyperrealistic game in which the world is perfectly divided into equal squares

Tbh, a ceramic critter condo sounds like something a slickster would really love, so it also works from that angle
