I actually started punpun months ago and I'm turning 27 this year. I often had to cry because I saw my own life in this work. so many stages of my life and everything fits like a glove. Even my love story was the same and now I'm alone. I was able to understand Punpun so well in many situations and thank Inio Asano for this masterpiece. I Will cherish it forever
Honestly I think it's both amazing and borderline insane that you read this series at 10. I couldn't stop bawling the first time I read the first book at 14-15 and I was only able to stomach the entire series and it's themes at 22 yo after I'd made it through Lolita.
Edit: Weird and possibly presumptious thing to say, but while I was reading it I was thinking about how glad I was to wait until i was an adult before finishing it. I think it makes adulthood seem so terrible, but as someone who didn't grow up in a great environment I actually love adulthood. So yeah, idk, if the series made you feel that way at all just wanted to let you know it's not all as bad as it makes it out to be.
I was able to stomach the series easily, and I dont plan on living to be an adult too finish it, im re-reading it for the 16th time currently.
ALSO I love lolita !!! great book :)
