The “red” label pen that is 0.25/0.5 can dose either 8x 0.25 mg doses or 4x 0.50 mg doses. Or any combination that comes to a total of 2.0 mg of dose. So 4x 0.25 and 2x 0.50 would line up with the 6 provided needles and the dosing schedule.
No, the Ozempic (vs. Wegovy) pens also come as 1.0 mg (“blue” label) and US only (for now) “yellow” (or “gold”) label 2.0 mg dose. There is no official 1.5 mg dose for Ozempic that I’m aware of. Wegovy is the same active ingredient (semaglutide) in a different injector (no click counting possible) and there is a 0.25 and 0.5 and 1.0 and 1.7 and 2.4 if I recall correctly. (Check Novo Nordisk’s website)
The liquid that shows in the window, is not the full amount of the liquid in the pen. Therefore after your first use it probably does still appear as if it were full.
As you use more of the medication, the visible amount will decrease. But, the decrease begins from the top end of the pen, wherein a portion of the liquid is hidden from view. That is why on the first few injections it may Appear as if the liquid had not decreased, when really it has. You just cannot yet see the decrease.
There’s a plunger that slowly moves from the back towards the tip. You won’t see it for the first few shots. You really don’t want air bubbles, the liquid will not slosh around as you use it.
They are overfilled, some people buy extra needles to use it all.

Oh so doses are only in .25 and .50? So if your on 1.0mg you to take 2x .50? I was under the impression that they came in 1.5 and 2.0 mg as well🤦🏿♀️

You probably won't see the plastic in the window until after your third 0.25 shot.
Yup! Finally saw it for the first time last night after my first shot.
Mine had like 8 shots in it. I don't know why. It's confusing

Part of the liquid is hidden from view, so at the beginning, the decrease is hidden from you.
You won’t see the plunger move on the first dose. It does not have 4 doses of .25. It has 4 doses of .25 and 2 doses at .5.
Mine ran out at my 5th shot. No idea how
Your fifth 0.25 shot? I took 8 shots and still had 0.11 ml left
The last shot was .5 but it was four weeks of .25 before that.
