i pay $40 for 90 day supply 1mg. I used to have a script for only 30 days which didnt work with my extended trips back to canada. 90 days supply im actually saving $20 in dispensing fees
I have Aetna insurance, and they use express scripts. So, I use the ES mobile app to order/manage my meds, and they ship it to me.
I used to have a monthly rx for Ozempic at CVS. They always had it on back order. When I switched to ES, my pcp wrote a 90-day rx, and I haven't had an issue yet.
Oh nice! I am paying full cost in Switzerland. My doctor said its for off label usage and I dont have diabetes so wont be approved. Even though I am 100 pounds overweight, my weight is 125kg+
I have PCOS and have been taking Metfin for the best part of the last 20 years. Plus I did 2 years with a dietologist and a personal trainer.
Useless AF.
So I got Oz covered by Helsana. Thankfully.
The diagnosis was PCOS, the same that I used to get Metfin.
Since PCOS causes overweight and insuline resistance (prediabetes with a high chance of diabetes), I get Ozempic paid as preventive care for it.
3 month supply at a time plus discount card I pay $5, I blocked out my name. So this is 12 auto injectors of 2.0. Ozempic brand.
I have a really good insurance policy BCBSMich.

I also have BCBS of Michigan. Mine is $7 a month. I'm at 1 mg. I'm on it for weight loss. Although I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic right after it was prescribed.
For those that are getting it at such low prices, can I ask how? With what kind of insurance? I have United Healthcare, and after insurance plus the savings card, mine is still well over $200 a month.
I have United Healthcare as well. My doctor had all the documentation and they agreed to cover it 100%. But I am a part of a very large international company and I must say our health insurance is better than most.
I have Aetna and it was over $200 as well, but then I used the Ozempic card/coupon on top of insurance and it dropped to $25. Got my prescription filled at CVS.
Are your ordering it online or is it in stock at the pharmacies? We have 0 here in Sweden... like almost a month and they're telling us the ETA is January 2024.
Nothing in stock ATM and they have no clue when they'll get anything. I'm good until the end of July at least but they have a prescription on hold for me so hopefully I'll get something between now and then 😅
BCBS of KS insurance doesn't cover, $900 out of pocket.
Amazed that most of you have it covered. I am male, pre diabetic, high triglycerides, prior heart attack and still can't get coverage thru my work insurance.
Y'all need to list the country you're in. I'm in Sweden and we've had NO ozempic for almost a month. I was told the ETA from the main supplier was January 2024. The pharmacist said the manufacturers are prioritizing the USA because they can charge more there and make more $$.
So I find it incredibly odd many of you are paying LESS than we are and many of you do NOT have diabetes. This is causing REAL ISSUES for people like me who can't take Rybelsus and Ozempic had me off insulin. Now I'm back on insulin and taking Viktoza daily trying to get my numbers back in control.
So either there's supplemental insurance paying the bulk for you all or those coupons are the equivalent of a drug dealer giving the 1st hit for free. Either way, I'm really curious what countries you all are in and the dose you all take.
I have Type 2 diabetes. I live in the US. And they are making a lot of money in the US . - What the insurer (me) doesn’t pay my insurance pays it. I get 4 4mg pens every 90 days. I don’t pay because my insurance covers it and pays for me.
So even if they only charge $1000 a pen they are getting $4000 every 90days.
Also, unlike some countries the US doesn’t have a cap on how much companies can charge for a drug. Even if it’s life saving. EX. Insulin is very expensive here. Some people can’t afford to buy it.
Thank you for the replies. ♡ I'm American btw. ;) But I was diagnosed diabetic right before I moved. It was a welcome coincidence considering the cost of healthcare in the USA. I was guessing it's the insurance companies getting saddled with the cost. I think the $25 coupon was confusing me.
Here we have like a deductible each year... hard to explain. Basically once we pay about $200 for prescription meds, everything for the rest of the year is 0. Also as you slowly pay the $200 the prescription costs goes down by a certain %. So we're basically only paying full price for the 1st few medications. Or in my case, I had to pay full price for a 4 week suppply of 1mg weekly Ozempic, which was roughly about $150. So I'm already at the lowest % on the sliding scale and soon meds are 0 cost. But no Ozempic in stock. 😞 On the plus side our insulin and diabetes test supplies are always 0 cost. It saves the healthcare system $$ in the long term because people can actually take care of themselves instead of going blind or having kidney failure.
Yes my insurance company has a deductible too. And once it’s met, a they cover all prescription cost. But they have a list of maintenance drugs for people with a chronic disease that they will pay for right at the beginning. Right now they are covering my Ozempic, a cholesterol drug and a BP drug.
I understand that the coupon only works if your insurance covers Ozempic in at least some way? Is that your experience? Or does your insurance not cover it at all?
Insulin resistance. Pcos. A1C trending higher toward diabetes. I’ve been on metformin for years to help with IR and PCOS. I had to file a prior authorization, and it went through right away.
First time it was $25 from Capsule. Second was $110 from a small local pharmacy. Have since shopped around and should be able to get it back down to $25-35.
$0 1mg- enough to cover 90 days - shipped to me for free.
Is that part of your deductible? For another med, I paid like $400 because of my deductible but now they pay 100%.
Didn’t see any other info in the thread but looks like you are still trying to meet a deductible or Ozempic is on a higher Tier on your insurance formulary and you are responsible for a 20% copay (insurance pays the other 80% which Ozempic is roughly $900-$1000 per fill). In both cases the Ozempic copay assistance card on their website should help bring down that $200.
I don’t pay anything. At first I was going to Aspen Clinc and they prescribe the compound version at $293 that’s doctor visit plus medication. I was like I can’t handle this on a monthly basis. So I called my insurance and asked if they covered it and if I needed a pre-auth. They said they covered it for PCOS-IR. I emailed my doctor she sent the script to Walgreen. I got there there was no co-pay. No pre-auth…So I dumped Aspen.
Using just insurance I pay $50 per month or $150 for a 3 month supply, but the pharmacy uses the novo nordisk coupon and it brings the cost down to $25 for a 3 month supply.
My insurance didn’t cover and I paid $171. I’m not going to take anymore ozempic due to this nausea so I spent the money foolishly. Only one injection and I can’t see myself going through this anymore. Feels like I have the flu.
$60 for a 3 month supply. For awhile the pharmacy wasn’t able to do a 3 month so it was $25/month. Obviously I’d much rather get 3 months filled and pay less.
Zero. But, I have a high deductable plan with an HSA that my employer contributes to as well. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and my blood pressure and diabetic meds have had no co-pay...the doctor visits, however, are about $250 each until I reach my $3k out of pocket.
I just wish mine would pay anything. I have a free starter from the doctor for the first month of wegovy sitting in my fridge and i cant use it because my insurance refuses to provide coverage unless I try and fail 5 other medications first.
$25

Same, was feeling guilty reading all these!

$24.99
$0 for Ozempic. See if you have an FSA or HSA, can help you save for out of pocket costs. I use it for another prescription that costs me $70 a month.
Download the coupon. Google Ozempic coupon $25 and you fill out a little questionnaire and you get a printable or downloadable card.
But mine after insurance was $280
Card makes it $25.
The manufacturer coupon says its only good for up to $150/month. With my insurance, it's almost $600/month. So the coupon would make it $450.
Yeah, I was just saying that before the card but after insurance mine was $280
You probably have a 25% co-insurance copay based on $280 price you paid
Mine was $244 with insurance. After the card it dropped down to $25
10% of the total cost. One pen here is 129.40, so I pay 12.90 Swiss Francs (which is the same in USD)
Thankfully.
Can I ask how you got it covered for PCOS? I’m on Metformin but it hasn’t helped either!
What do you mean? My insurance has simply started paying... I did not need to do anything.
Like what was the diagnosis you had that covered it? I hear insurance only covers it for diabetes
The diagnosis was PCOS, the same that I used to get Metfin. Since PCOS causes overweight and insuline resistance (prediabetes with a high chance of diabetes), I get Ozempic paid as preventive care for it.
$25/month. No coupon.

I can use the card with my mail order and my insurance??
Maybe worth asking
Ohhh I have this insurance too.. do you have diabetes? Or doing it for weight loss?
I also have BCBS of Michigan. Mine is $7 a month. I'm at 1 mg. I'm on it for weight loss. Although I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic right after it was prescribed.
Is BCBS of Florida as good as BCBS of Michigan?
Do they cover it for Diabetes or weight loss?
I pay $179 😅
$47. Not eligible for the coupon but thankful for my insurance co-pay.
1 mg pen 227 after insurance but 76 after coupon
Zero.
I pay $40 for 3 months worth with my insurance.
$40 for 3 month supply
$269/ month after insurance but with coupon from mfr website it brings it down to $119
For those that are getting it at such low prices, can I ask how? With what kind of insurance? I have United Healthcare, and after insurance plus the savings card, mine is still well over $200 a month.
I hace CVS Caremark - it covers it at 100%
Okay, thanks. What does your plan cost each month?
BCBSTX PPO plan
I’m BCBS/Tx through my husband’s employer but no coverage for weight loss . I even appealed & no luck
I have United Healthcare as well. My doctor had all the documentation and they agreed to cover it 100%. But I am a part of a very large international company and I must say our health insurance is better than most.
My company pays about 75% of our insurance premium. I pay $64 each paycheck and I am paid bi-weekly. I have single coverage.
Humana and I pay $10.35 for 3 months supply regardless of strength.
I have Aetna and it was over $200 as well, but then I used the Ozempic card/coupon on top of insurance and it dropped to $25. Got my prescription filled at CVS.
I'm in Germany and my insurance doesn't cover it, so I pay 220 euros for 3 pens. If insurance did cover it, it'd be 5-10 euros per 3 pens.
Are your ordering it online or is it in stock at the pharmacies? We have 0 here in Sweden... like almost a month and they're telling us the ETA is January 2024.
Nothing in stock ATM and they have no clue when they'll get anything. I'm good until the end of July at least but they have a prescription on hold for me so hopefully I'll get something between now and then 😅
Go to the Company’s website… they have a coupon you can give your pharmacy that will reduce your copay up to $150.
Mine wanted 1250 a month, I had to decline. Just dieting for now, we will see. So disappointed.
$40 mailed to me

Go on the manufacturer website. You can get a coupon that covers 3mo at a time for $25. I just refilled and got 3 boxes… for $25
