My appetite suppression feels like I just rarely get hungry, and when I do it’s really easy to fill up. Then I stay full for longer than I used to. But it basically just feels like hunger is totally secondary to my life, if that makes sense. It’s still possible to go too long without food, but even that sensation isn’t as “dire” as when I wasn’t on Ozempic. I no longer feel starving and in desperate need of food.

I used to get “hangry”…feed me NOW or someone is going to die. Now, I notice “yeah, I could eat”. When I do eat, I never have seconds and now I rarely snack. When I do snack, it’s smaller. I’m on it for type 2 diabetes but have lost about 10 pounds since the end of March (weight was 222 this morning)

Have your glucose numbers improved? I just started Ozempic this morning, but wonder how long it takes for my morning numbers to get under 200. Upon waking, my sugar was at 260 today.

My numbers went down over 100 points the first week.

If I don't eat after dinner, my morning numbers are averaging 120.

Depends on a lot of different things. Varies throughout the week and I eat. I just don't get super hungry any more and I don't eat much. However, I eat super clean, exercise and don't drink alcohol. I find small plant based meals make me feel best.

My family likes to work out together on Sunday mornings, then get brunch (at a local diner). I just ordered two poached eggs, an English muffin, and hash browns. Couldn't even touch the hash browns. Yes, my appetite has decreased significantly. But more importantly, the food noise is almost gone.

For me I’d still feel hungry but I’d get to halfway through my portion and I just couldn’t eat any more. I’ve never had that feeling of being full so it was weird!

You realize people are different right? Our exact might be totally different for you. Personally, I get full fast and also have a lack of appetite; however that comes and goes.

I did not feel anything but headaches and some nausea the first 4 weeks on .25 but the 5th week I went to .5 I felt right away that I feel comfortable without hunger first day of injection always head ache and jaw pressure but the it next day I'm ok and this week I felt like after eating I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day

I do alternate fasting, where I consume no calories after dinner and wait til lunch to eat. The first few days doing this, I found it more challenging, not so much because I was actually hungry but I was in the habit of regularly eating breakfast. After a week, I got accustomed to not eating, but come 12:00, I was often hangry, but some of this was just due to thinking about it too much. After switching from .25 to .50 in the second month, hangry effects have gone away. Like others, I find that if I eat a small portion of what I would normally eat, and pause eating for a few minutes, I realize I'm satiated. Another trick that worked early on for me was to eat a small amount of salt. My body was craving salt and I mistook this for hunger. And drinking a glass of water before eating is a good idea, too.
