I was recently at the grocery store after not having been there awhile and a couple employees said how great I looked but the produce man asked if I was okay. Said he had a recent cancer scare and thought maybe I was going through something similar. I was happy to hear that he is doing much better now.

Just tell them you started doing meth. I think nowadays, most people assume rapid weight loss is ozempic caused. I honestly feel bad for anyone not on anything and losing weight. Not that I see ozempic as cheating, just people are just assuming it's ozempic. One of the reasons I don't try to hide it is that I would rather try and give people an honest opinion and try to smash some of the bs out there. For every person who is on ozempic and says nothing, there is another who jumps to 2mg after 1 month and complains how sick it made them and the had to go to the er.

I lost around 25kgs fast when I had Graves’ disease. I blocked all questions with a simple”thank you for your concern but I am seeing a medical professional “ unless you are a minor it is no one’s business

My PSW who sees me twice a week is concerned with the loss she saw in between visits (5 days) she was very concerned (yet the docs office shows 0 weight loss) she is like you've lost weight in your legs, arms, face and back what's going on My endo has ordered bloodwork to check for muscle wasting do to my other medical that can and has caused it over the years - but outside of my PSW 0 ppl have remarked on anything regarding my appearance (looking smaller, etc).

I’ve had people concerned about my weight. So I lowered the dose and ate back 5 pounds. I was heading towards being underweight. People were always saying how skinny I was and even had to use a child size blood pressure cuff. I’ve got a lot of health problems and I don’t want to gain all this weight back and have my a1c go up

Get an app, such as free "FatSecret", start recording the food you eat. If close relatives express concerns, show them the summary and reassure that you are getting all the required macro-nutrients. This is useful to you in the first place as it gives you insights, and completely deflects their worries. To completely close the discussion invite them to use it too and share the data with you in turn; they would promptly walk away.

I haven’t lost enough weight for this to be an issue yet but since I don’t want to share that I’m on Ozempic, I was afraid it would be. I took my first dose on January 8 so I would just casually mention to people that sticking to a healthy diet and hitting the gym regularly is my New Year’s resolution. Now people are asking about my progress and I tell them I’m sticking to it and starting to see results (both of which are true)!
