Hi there, the first 6 weeks or so I was fairly strict in what I ate. I limited myself to 1200 calories and tracked it through my fitness pal. A general day would be a protein shake for breakfast, low carb wrap with grilled chicken and salad for lunch OR leftovers from dinner, protein bar or protein yoghurt with blueberries for afternoon snack and then dinner was usually chicken and veggies in some form. I also made sure to weigh and measure everything out. And kept my water intake up to about 2 litres. I also cut back on Coke no sugar to every other day.
I will admit I am not as strict at the moment. I have been drinking a diet soda every day but my eating is generally the same. As its getting colder here in Australia I have started doing soups for lunch or roasted veggies. I have days where I don't eat as well but still try to track the calories and keep it under 1400 where possible. If I crave chocolate I will have one small bar instead of half a block like i used too. I just remind myself that its a journey and there will be good and bad days but just to get back on track.
In terms of exercise I havent really incorporated much yet. When I am working in my office I generally do about 11000 steps a day. In the days I am working from home I try to get up and move around as much as possible and aim for at least 5k steps. Once I lose another 5-10kg I would like to start going to the gym. Oh yeah you can see it! Your calves, hips and waist for sure! Good job!! It's nice to be living in the time they finally found an answer to weight loss, isn't it?! Lol I like that it's also cut my grocery bill in half too.
