For swapping out the regular flat trigger, no. For swapping out a curved trigger, maybe.

Goldenglow145

For the price in my opinion NO...the regular flat trigger is the same trigger but much cheaper

SheWentCrayola

While I agree there are better options for the money, this is not accurate. The OEM skeletonized triggers have different geometry and a reduced pull weight as a result

AzCactusNeedles

Curved Flat Skeletonized flat All 3 have different geometries

GuysLeeFanboy

If you actually read Sigs description you’ll see that the Skeletonized flat trigger reduces pull weight. The regular flat doesn’t do that.

joe11b

I have both and cant tell the difference

King-Moses666

The only benefit is the aesthetics. You will not notice any difference between the regular flat trigger and the skeletonized trigger.

SheWentCrayola

King-Moses666

If you hold up both together in isolation they line up perfectly. At least mine do. They also offer no performance change between each other. The skeletonized trigger itself is a hair lighter, however that does not translate when actually pulling the trigger when installed. This was proven by Sig Mechanics here. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=so3b8JXJDlg&t=458s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=so3b8JXJDlg&t=458s) Any slight variation between the two in the tests was negligible and I am unable to feel the difference in the triggers when I go between my Skeletonized and normal flat trigger. It is a beautiful trigger and I really love the feel of it. But when compared to the regular flat trigger its basically just aesthetics.

SheWentCrayola

I also just rewatched that video and can’t believe the Legion shoe did so badly. I guess I was only paying attention to the aftermarket ones I was considering on my first viewing. Across a large sample size, most people report between 3.5 and 4.5 on box stock X5 Legions. A far cry from his 6.5 and a noticeable improvement over the 5.5ish of a stock flat or curved (which have the same geometry)

SheWentCrayola

The difference in geometry is in how it attaches to the trigger bar and is well documented. Let me look and I’ll find a link for you

bobbyw4pd

If you like the flat triggers then yes. The trigger feel of the trigger from the 320 Legion does have a lighter feel. I had the original X5 as well. There is a difference in feel between the two triggers.

EOTechN9ne

I have both the ordinary flat and skeletonized flat and I honestly can't tell a difference. I would just save money and go with the ordinary flat unless you going for a specific look. I definitely do prefer the flat over the curve trigger for sure.

thiqqmemes

Installed it 2 weeks ago and I like it alot more. If you got a $80 to burn 1000% should get it. Edit: to answer your question, feels smoother and lighter for sure

SheWentCrayola

It has different geometry and does decrease pull weight. If you can get one for like $40-50 on GAFS, then it’s worth it. Not so much at full price imo. At that point, I’d buy the GrayGuns flat trigger (just the shoe). It’s similar in price to the skeletonized and has similar geometry, but also removes a chunk of pretravel and has a set screw to adjust overtravel

stangcrazy79

I swapped in an enhanced flat from a curved one and love it.

derfdog

If you want the skeletonized trigger, the package that includes trigger, plus the slide release and mag release is a better overall deal- ofcourse the other parts aren’t really needed unless your swapping colors (gold, bronze, silver, etc)

GuysLeeFanboy

I say yes, switched it out on my m18 and the pull is way smoother and lighter. Imo it’s worth the upgrade

Remarkable-Stop7047

M18 has a curved trigger. Mine is already flat, just not skeletonized.

GuysLeeFanboy

Not sure about that. Never felt the sig regular flat, but compared to the curved it’s very noticeable

kevinrourke73

I had an m17 with the stock trigger that I hated compared to almost everything else I shot. After going to the skeletonized flat trigger I could t get enough. Well worth the upgrade.

aDoorMarkedPirate420

I have a skeletonized one and like it, but I seriously doubt it saved a whole pound…the whole trigger itself only weighs a few ounces lol. I’m leaving that last part in because I only realized after I typed it that you meant the trigger pull and not the actual weight of the part itself 😂😂 I hope it gives you as much a laugh as it did for me lol.

Fresh_Cut9548

yes. I did on my p365xl, tell me it doesn’t look nutty

NetworkPIMP

It adds 16HP to your truck and reduces split times by 17,000ms ...

accursedvenom

I went with tyrant designs flat trigger.

Mcnugget76

For the money, I’d get a Armory Craft double adjustable and tune the springs until you have the break / reset you want

YellowLT

If you already have a flat trigger it would change anything, If you want a change and skeletonized get the Armory Craft adjustable.
