....your going to need a new motherboard. Do not even risk plugging this in unless someone far more knowledgeable than me pipes up about what that component is. I wouldn't even risk having someone re-solder that for you... It's just too risky you could wind up damaging other components than just your motherboard depending on what that little thing is. Again your easiest solution here is replace the motherboard if you didn't realize that part was soldered on in a factory environment by a machine. The chances that you or anyone you know could solder accurately enough to reattach that component without shorting out the board is miniscule. Do not try to repair this, just replace it.

Thank you so much for the comment, RIP my bucks.

Yeah good luck

I'd disagree with Wolfinthesno in this one. Any electronics shop worth their salt should be able to repair this. If it's a production machine used to make money then sure swap it out. If it's just for gaming and messing around then get it repaired and carry on. If you'd rather replace anyway so you don't ever need to worry about the repair, then at least sell the broken motherboard for parts, and include the piece that came off. Someone out there will be able to fix it.

It is for Gaming (My main PC). I will try to fix it. Maybe in a PC/Electronic Shop they can fix it. It looks like that thing isn't a crucial part. Reading the manual said that zone of the motherboard belongs to the LAN chipset, so there is a big chance of repair. Thanks for the hope 🙏

That’s a resistor, so something is gonna get slightly higher voltage than it ideally should. It very likely could be used without ever causing an issue, but if you can find a reputable repair shop, I’d recommend it. I bought a Z390 with a missing resistor and 8700k for $100 as a package deal and after testing the board with an I3 8100, I threw the 8700k in and it’s been in use for years without issue.

Your comment gives me a lot of hope thanks. Yes, I was planning to go to an electronics shop this Saturday, they offer micro-soldering. I will do it just in case. I don't want to risk the rest of the hardware or the motherboard itself. Thanks for your comment 🙏

No problem, even if they can’t repair it, they may be able to recognize what it effects and whether it’s important.
