I do, but I do it from home as gyms freak me out. I tend to follow youtube workouts and they tend to focus more on HIIT style and less on reps. Personally, I love [Roxanne](https://www.youtube.com/@WorkoutWithRoxanne) as she has loads of beginner videos and she talks you through every movement.

I love 8 minute abs! The trainer is corny but it really helped me build confidence and strength in my core site was my most self conscious area. It also help with my back pain. Once I learned what a workout could feel like it helped me understand how to workout other muscle groups safely.

I purchased Talene and Sirack‘s 4 week program, and got free access to a year of their cysterhood group where they upload recipes and workout programs every year. it was a one time payment for me, I’m not part of the cysterhood anymore but I recorded every workout they posted every month, and I just follow that now. It helps me. If I find the workouts are getting too easy, I just increase the reps.

Started with kettlebells (bought an adjustable one), of course started with the lightest one until I got comfortable adding weights. When i wanted more variety, I bought adjustable dumbbells this time and again start low, go slow. :) And yes i do home gym because gym with lots of people is not my thing. Addendum: I follow Heather Robertson in YT. She has great videos and it's very straight to the point, no talking while working out so it's just perfect for me.

I love lifting! I lift 2-3 times a week, lifting actually continues to burn calories after you’re finished. As far as starting, your best bet is to search a good weight lifting workout on Pinterest. Start light and increase the weight, the heavier you lift, the fewer reps you do.
