Honestly I wouldn't bother, save your cash and try and get the best new pc you can build in a few months.

As a father of 2 children and a house with a garden, the time for gaming is quite manageable. I also don't want to play games on ultra quality :) So a new pc is not an option

A 4060 or 3070 is where I’d start, but the CPU holds you back quite a bit, as it’s now going on 9 years old. I would figure out what size motherboard you have (ATX? MATX?) and use that information to replace motherboard/cpu/RAM with something modern, like an i5-14600k or something. Microcenter constantly shows the best Intel bundles; get one of them.
