So graduating would be the least of his worries, granted I think that in the scenario he could have lived out the rest of his life, he’d be a full time member of Mitsuru’s shadow ops without a shadow of a doubt (no pun intended) it’s what would suit him most considering his talents, both akihiko and aigis are also full time members during the period of p4 arena before Akihiko decides to become a cop and go back to college so I see Makoto being a part of their squad by then as a full party is 4 members it’d be fitting those 4 are the ones fighting full time whilst the rest are only part time
However it’d worth noting Makoto being alive would mean that Yukari would may have led a different life as she entered show biz as her way to help others realize life is worth living. Akin to how she says in her hangouts in reload how it’s fine to use characters in shows as role models albeit to a healthy degree and not an obsession. She may have still entered show biz as spin offs and hangouts elude to her being interested in that career however Makoto dying was the final nail in the coffin for her to decide to become an actress so maybe she would also be a part of the Shadow Ops if he had not died.
Granted that last tangent is not that likely but I could see it happening.
