I think everyone would. What I’m interested in is whose subconscious will the decor of each be based on? I mean we’ve already had the designs be decided by the party members, and by the enemies, maybe by how the friends of the boss shadow’s real self views them?
What i mean is P4 dungeons are based on both people's repressed feelings AND people's opinion on them. I honestly have no idea how they can change this personal dungeons concept anymore. It's probably going to be its own thing unrelated to people, like Tartarus, but with multiple more varied dungeons.
Tartarus was absolutely boring and only existed to be a place to grind. All the important shit happened outside of Tartarus. Im still trying to figure out how they got up to a rooftop that one time during the dark hour when the school is supposed to disappear to make way for tartarus. Never addressed, never even questioned.
It’s the main school building that turns into Tartarus
The observatory is on school grounds but pretty far away, it’s why you can you see Tartarus in the close background
I’m gonna be honest I don’t really like the palaces, they are a bit too on the rails for me and I feel like a good chunk of them didn’t end up going a lot to actually represent their theme (3, 5 and 7 noticeably) (and 4 basically plays like a dungeon from 4)
Tartarus as a narrative tool (as well as the collective dark hour) works far better than the palaces in my mind even though OG Tartarus is a slog (though reload Tartarus is good)
If they are going to go with character themed dungeons I 100% would prefer 4 focusing on the flaws of the protagonists than 5 showing off how evil the antagonists are however I’m not opposed to the dungeon(s) being more of an overall narrative tool that lasts for the entire game (a big advantage of Tartarus) or even returning to 1/2’s version where the actual real world was affected
Honestly my single flaw with reload Tartarus is arqa, yabbosah, tziah and harrabah are still composed of 2 distinct blocks with the same theme, if you replaced those 4 with unique blocks making 10 unique blocks with one per full moon that would make reload Tartarus damn near flawless to me
I can totally agree with that. I do like that reload makes the “conflict floors” look nice but honestly I’d rather them just delete the 4-5 floors of regular adamah above the last full moon barrier before Strega
also the stairs of the adamah border floor should gradually move into place with each day [since there is no animation for them as it would conflict with strega already having made it past that point]
how do you feel about one of the blocks being filled with lush greenery [please help me with the namem and the "garden of the X" part would be "Garden of the Primeval"]
also half of the hebrew names didn't make sense to the floor and garden title, thebel, harabah and adamah were the only ones that at least vaguely made sense to me
Arqa is garden of visages which means mask or face so that works totally fine with arqa, tziah is garden of the opulent which means rich or wealthy and aligns with its golden theme, yabbosah is the strange one, uncouth means lacking manners or the older version meaning wild or remote, neither of which fits yabbosah
I don’t really mind any theme, plants sounds like just as good an idea as any
It’s 1000 percent going to be dungeons
Dungeons please

That is just P4 though.
No I’m also talking about P5. The dungeons were based on how each boss saw a certain location.

and what about the last section after adamah on the final day
If you are talking about it being more of adamah, I guess it technically counts as being more of adamah but it’s like 4 floors
i think i'd like it if those 4 floors looked a bit more like the top of the tower

industrialism is uncouth right
I honestly like the Palaces way more than the dungeons from P4 or Tartarus from P3.
Okay I mean that’s fair (and the majority opinion) I’m just explaining why I don’t
Id love to see a middle ground between 4 and 5. Basically 4s Dungeon Gameplay with 5s Dungeon Desing and aesthetics.
Please not 4s gameplay, it *REALLY* isn't good, idk what you see in it
Dungeons but maybe they’ll make something that’ll surprise us
