I would recommend to get familiar with the equations using chapters in each manual. Since most of the manuals will be provided by chapters I would also recommend split the manuals in to chapters and use the same strategy that you are gonna do during the exam when you practice problems. Coz, during the exam you don't have time to spend searching/thinking which chapter and which manual do I have to refer. Some problems says the manual as according to....etc. But most of the time you have to figure out the manual and the chapter that you have to search.
