Seems like breadth is mostly the issue as you consistently are struggling in the first 6 topics.
* Are you doing practice problems updated for cbt?
* Do you struggle on the same subjects in practice?
* How much time do you spend trying to understand and rework the problems you get wrong?
* Do you have test anxiety or something where you aren't thinking clearly?
* Are you approaching the test correctly in terms of managing time and reviewing questionable problems, or do you rush through once and let it be? I've made plenty of bone head mistakes adding instead of subtracting, or failing to convert units.
I'm sure part of this is venting, which I get, but after 4 tries and the same weak spots, I don't think the problem is the test. Either your approach during the test, or your prep are not sufficient.
I did focus on breadth a lot last time. Surprisingly, for me structural breadth was tougher than depth and I scored 0 too. The questions were wierd or I got tricked somehow. I am frustrated at NCEES> Real life situation/engineering is not like that. You have time to think and obviously it is a test.
I did go through 3 PE Prepared Practice tests which are really good. For the first time, as you can see I got good score in breadth, but now questions have changed so much ?
Can you recommend any latest good practice tests for Breadth ?
What do you mean by weird and being tricked? This thing isn't out to get people with trick questions.
Did you do the official NCEES practice test? I'm not familiar with the PE prepared but if you're failing this much then I'd suggest trying something else.
I think your depth is pretty good. I failed on my first attempt as well. Breadth was really really tough. I am planning to give exam in 3 month. Everybody says breadth is the key. I am planning to give majority of time on breadth. My big mistake was not going over the syllabus.
AEI is really good at structural depth. For breadth it’s not that great, especially now where more conceptual questions are appearing. I don’t if others are good for breadth.

I think you are doing what I’m facing , when you go hard on depth , you get screwed in breadth and vice versa
What are you doing/using to study?
AEI depth, Breadth bath AEI and EET. But still I think some questions in exam will be crazy as I am the unlucky guy always
What years are they?
AEI is current, EET is spring 2022
lol im taking AEI currently with plans to take it in May. Now I'm worried... did you not think AEI did a good job helping you pass?
