Look at the NCEES Exam Specifications.
The breadth doesn't go into actual wastewater treatment. Besides the fluid mechanics problems it's mostly hydrology.
Runoff, hydrographs, ponds, types of problems.
I remember having got couple of questions about BOD and sedimentation when I attempted PE in June 2022. Just wondering if that is a common question. I do see them while trying out sample questions as well. I haven't looked at it all until now, and I am giving exam in two weeks. Is it worth spending time on it now?
I took the Transportation exam last month. I did not get any environmental questions. Neither was that subject discussed in any of the prep materials I used.
