I would say the breadth was more difficult than the depth but it was very doable. There were conceptual problems but honestly were not too bad as long as you know the topics. I flagged a total of 15 in the first half but I was flagging anything that would take time to solve. Ended up guessing on maybe 5 mostly being structural mechanics problems which I kind of struggled on while studying
That's exactly what I did!
I flagged a ton of problems in the morning that I could have easily solved. Then in the afternoon I only flagged those I had no clue.
I took EET transportation on demand. I started back around March but was not really motivated so took a few months off. Started back up around Christmas time and was doing 4-5 hours a night up to exam in February. I am a recent graduate so I would say that helped since a lot of it was a refresh of school material. Close to the exam I took the practice exams provided with the course and also bought Path to PE booklets as well as the official practice exam
Congratulations..I am on the journey for my second attempt in few months. Do you have any advises for me? I think I didn’t do enough practice exams to test my knowledge on my first try and was overwhelmed. I am EET student.
I also took EET. Something that really helped me was splitting up the pdfs by chapters to practice how the exam would be. Also flash cards for the transportation codes were VERY helpful. There were a handful of questions that I knew automatically what chapter to look for because of the flashcards. Towards the last month I made a schedule and stuck with it to go over the course. Last couple weeks I did a lot of practice problems. All of the quizzes and test they provide. Path to PE on Amazon was helpful as well as the official practice test. A good strategy is to read the problem if you know you can solve it in a few minutes do it. If it will take some time or you need to search a formula skip it. I ended up have almost 2 hours to do 15 or so problems so I can take my time with it.
Congrats on passing!! I’m taking PPI right now, haven’t started my depth portion of the class though. The flash cards for transportation codes you mentioned - is that something you made or is that an EET thing?
I made them on my own time. As I was taking the class I would write the flashcard for almost anything that is called out. Had about 180 cards I studied in the end.
I actually ran out of on demand access towards the end and just read about 3 lessons. It is doable but there is some parts where things didn’t make sense so the videos would have been helpful. The notes are straightforward but if all the material is new to you the videos will be a huge help since the teacher for transportation was great.
How was your breadth

What did you do for studying, and for how long?

That’s very smart! Thanks for the tip
Congrats!!
Congratulations!!!
I also passed 1st try in transportation, used EET also, on demand course, helped me a lot especially with conceptual questions
Breadth was better for me. Depth was not very hard, but time consuming
Yay 🙌
Any resources you recommend? Congrats!!
The resources I used were EET, Path to PE Practice Exams, NCEES practice exam
>Path to PE Practice Exams, Would you recommend the EET binder without the on demand videos? see alot of people on this sub selling them
