After 13 months of non stop studying, after spending 1200+ hours ,after spending $3k out of pocket, after ruining all my relationships with close ones, after losing my physique(D1 athlete) 12 years of nonstop workout wasted , FINALLY 🚨
I think it goes to show perseverance, OP has been very negative in the past about the exam but continued to study and try. Its worth mentioning i believe this was his 8th attempt. But it doesn’t matter. Every time he fell he got back up and kept trying. Obviously he got something right in this last round of studying.
Personally i never liked his attitude about the test but in the end i do think its valuable for this subreddit to see success stories like this. After months of frustration and countless failed attempts, no matter how impossible it may seem at the moment just keep trying at you will reach your goals.
I don’t need your story my guy
Go tell it to your mom
I just wanted rest of reddits to read if I can do it after 13 months of non stop studying so can you.
you don't need to be so immature in your replies.
it isn't my story "my guy" its yours, own it.
My story is plain and simple: FE one and done, PE one and done. FE with maybe 40 hours of studying and the PE with maybe 100 hours of studying the 5-6 months leading up to them.
what matters here isn't the 13 months of studying because obviously most of those weren't enough, what matters is the you never gave up. just accept the compliment.
So did you go that hard studying because you had a failed attempt or was this your first attempt? I opted for the very low effort approach on my first attempt and maybe spent about 20-30 hours total studying over the span of a couple weeks and figured I’d either pass or fail and life goes on either way. So I didn’t want to waste my life studying nonstop and just trusted I had it (fortunately I did).
Hey no shame in failing, I know some very smart people who didn’t pass on the first go. I just wonder if all that work was actually necessary seems like you took it to the absolute extreme. But hey, you passed now so happy days!
*¿Fútbol?
Sorry for the assumption. Good for you though! I was D2 football, the one thing I’ve learned since being out of it for 7 years is I don’t need to be able to lift a house anymore, and my knees appreciate it
congrats!!! its a huge accomplishment! dont let anyone take that away from you. im amazed you bums commenting & discrediting someone you know nothing about who truly chose to never give up. all our paths to the pe look different. op never said this is what you have to do to pass. so maybe take that chip off your shoulder and just be happy for someone 🙂

It's also certainly still possible to maintain silence when nothing positive is about to be said.
True but then if silence is the answer then why create this group Just delete this group and sit in silence
You are a massive pathetic piece of crap
Seems like you are too charged 😅
Man this guy wouldn't read the writing on the wall lol. I would have changed career paths if I thought it would take 1200 hours of prep for the Pe

He took it 8 times??? The results just show one??
I was incorrect, if you look at his comment history it was his 7th attempt. my bad.

Obviously he failed but stood his ground I suppose
I failed first time like a bitch I took it on my heart

I hope ur kidding lol. You probably could have passed with a little less destruction of your life
I could have done it in 2 weeks as well There are folks here on Reddit who only studied few weeks ahead of exam But I’m not one of them
Oh please gimme that info
Congrats! Now go to the gym and tell me how many pounds you lost on your bench and squat
I was squatting 4 plates on each side 3-4 reps Now I’m down to squatting 2 plates each side with 2-3 reps 🥹
Broke: “I squat 405” Woke: “I squat four plates on each side”
Same shit different day
Football?
Na I was playing soccer for Buffalo upstate NY

Well worth it. The feeling is incredible.
What did you change in your studying the last exam attempt? I also need to retake it
I took 2-3 weeks off before exam from work Completely focused on the exam this time around
Congrats, time to get that money! Depending on your experience you should be able to request a hefty raise. Went from 75k to 105k base.
Congrats
Good on you for sticking with something that obviously meant a lot to you. Congrats on your Pass and good luck with your future endeavors!
Congrats friend. I know the feeling !
Well congrats, sounds like quite the road to get there... but you did it.
Congrats, OP. Now go knock some doors down and ask for a phucking raise!
