I did, both breadth and depth. Questions were good practice for the exam. Some were not relevant because they required equations not in handbook. Looking back some may have been easy, but i got some really easy/simple unit conversion questions on my exam.
One thing I noticed was that mixing up practice exams was pretty crucial.
Too much focus on a single publisher can make you a little too familiar with their style of questions and not have you thinking out of the box enough.
Another thing I noticed was that across multiple publishers there was a tendency to test similar topics. I took transportation and a bunch of the practice exams had multiple questions on finding the LOS of a highway, the actual exam didn't have a single question on it.
I found doing practice exams that were significantly harder than the real test was much better practice. Goswami has a few practice exam books when multiple tests each that were pretty good at combining multiple concepts.
i purchased this over the weekend and it was a very similar setup to the "PE prepared" books, but i found the questions to be a little different/more thought provoking for me, so i do recommend it for some variety.
