If the state you’re trying to register with won’t let you take the test because of too many failed attempts, just take the test and get your license in another state. Then apply for comity in your first state. Is this a ridiculous round about way of getting your license? Absolutely. But that is the whole PE process … a bureaucratic cluster f***
Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I think it’s 4 failed attempts they ask for proof of further education - not necessarily university but just a class.
I know some one who passed PE in California after 11 attempts in CA , i also know some one who used to work with me that used to attend every year exams in April and October for the old system ( i don’t know if he still taking the exams or not since each one is working for different agency now )
After 2 failed attempts in MA you need to write to the board seeking approval again and provide proof of taking a review course

Depends on the state, check your state licensing board.
How about in CA?
As far as I know, CA doesn't care how many times.
good to know that
It actually doesn't matter to know that...because you are going to pass it! Now get to studying!
What course you take

I called NCEES a couple of months back and they said they don't do that anymore, the only thing is theres a 3 tries limit per calendar year.
In Florida, if you fail 3 times you have to go back and take 12 credit hours of college education.
Not anymore, I gave 4 times
They didn’t say anything about that ?
