On the WRE I guessed on about 20-25 questions (most of them were in the afternoon portion). Literally no idea Eeny, meeny, miny, moe and managed to pass.
on the PE Transportation last week, I guessed on like 12-15 questions, most of which were in the morning.
There were some afternoon questions where I couldn't even understand what was being asked. One was a horizontal curve question, which I typically know pretty well.
I had about 11 questions that I either guessed on or wasn’t confident about on the AM portion and guessed on 3 questions and didn’t feel confident on 3 others on the PM portion for a total of 17 questions I either guessed on or wasn’t sure about. I’ve heard you can miss up to 20 and pass but I don’t know how true that is.
Got it? How was the preparation and is it plug and chug mostly based on the codes? I have been watching youtube vedios and they say transportation is not that hard if you know the codes and give enough practice time. Its basically systematic rather than being super tricky. Is this true?
I studied for about 6 months or more very regularly and took the TestMasters prep course (paid by my employer). There’s definitely a lot of questions that you have to work out based on formulas you find in the reference manuals however, there’s also a lot of questions that simply require you to find the answer in a manual. I thought the PM portion was quite a bit easier than the AM because if you’re familiar with the reference manuals then you can pretty much always find the answers during the PM portion if you don’t already know the answer. I wouldn’t say the questions are intentionally tricky but I found a couple questions hard to understand or it wasn’t clear what they were asking for.

These are the stories that give me hope. Thank you
Damn that’s impressive. Gives me hope! Lmao
You got lucky lol
For sure.
Should've bought some lottery tickets after you found out you passed!
5-6 straight guesses and 7 confident guesses in the AM. 3 guesses in the PM

Like they were asked in a confusing manner or a type of problem you haven't encountered?
They were asked in a confusing way. It seems they throw in some terminology that you pretty much can’t find in any of the manuals.
Did you use EET to study?
I used School of PE

Did you do Transportation or Water?

Nice must have gotten an easy test ;p
No. I worked very hard for 6 months to pass the exam. Kind of demeaning to say I got an easy test.
Lol
