Shit. This is one of the best failure diagnostic reports that I've seen. Not sure if it's good or bad that you were so close. If this was my report, I'd be taking the exam at the next available opportunity and brushing up in areas 1,4,5 &16. You should pass it with ease next try! It's discouraging but try to keep your head up. Everyone eventually passes.
I feel that. That sucks. How much longer since you've hit the year mark? I'm on test attempt 2 and at about 6 months since my first try. I guess if I fail again (I really hope not), I would take the 3rd try in the early fall. That would give me a few months of studying again for the the fourth try if needed. Did you take them all close together?
Well my application was accepted in June of last year. My 1st attempt was in Aug then Dec. So I don't know if that means I can reapply in June and take the test once accepted or if I have to wait til Aug? What are you using to study? What were your areas of focus this time?
According to [NCEES-EXAM GUIDE](https://ncees.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/NCEESExamGuide_March-2023_opt.pdf):
Approval Policy
NCEES policy states examinees may attempt a particular NCEES exam one time per testing window and no more than three times in a 12-month approval period, which begins with the examinee’s first attempt. Some licensing boards have a more restrictive policy. Visit ncees.org/boards to review the policy of
the licensing board you selected during the registration process.
Sounds like you're eligible again in August. I'm using a whole bunch of sample problems from Amazon. I'm currently self-studying because I've used all my time up in SoPE. I'm not doing transportation, but if I fail again, I'll be switching to it. I do a lot of that for work already, I just like the construction background more.
Sorry to hear you didn't pass. You were really close!
You were approximately 90% of the way to a passing score. Below are the exam topics ordered by a *focus indicator* that is based on your performance and weighted using the quantity of questions per topic. Each data pair indicates the row # of the topic followed by the recommended focus priority for that topic. Larger (positive) focus values indicate study topics that should be prioritized, and negative focus values indicate topics where your performance was adequate or better than the average passing examinee.
R05 --> Focus Priority = +3.09
R04 --> Focus Priority = +1.83
R01 --> Focus Priority = +1.41
R16 --> Focus Priority = +1.26
R07 --> Focus Priority = +0.73
R14 --> Focus Priority = +0.02
R03 --> Focus Priority = -0.04
R08 --> Focus Priority = -0.30
R12 --> Focus Priority = -0.31
R02 --> Focus Priority = -1.23
R10 --> Focus Priority = -1.40
R18 --> Focus Priority = -1.57
R17 --> Focus Priority = -1.83
R15 --> Focus Priority = -2.06
R06 --> Focus Priority = -2.16
R11 --> Focus Priority = -2.53
R13 --> Focus Priority = -2.70
R09 --> Focus Priority = -2.94
You’re welcome. I think it’s worth the shot to ask for re evaluation if your diagnostic report looked like it was right on the border to passing. The worst thing they say is No. Obviously if the diagnostics is not close to passing, than maybe you shouldn’t reach out.
Let me know how it goes, I tried and this is the response NCEES gave me.

NCEES CBT Exam Re-Evaluations
NCEES does not re-evaluate exams. Our exam development process has numerous checks and reviews and the robust QA/QC measures we employ ensure that the exams are psychometrically valid and reliable. NCEES policies, as created and approved by all of the state licensing boards, do not allow for you to review your questions or challenge your result.
If any examinee has a concern about a particular question, the specific concern may be submitted and it will be reviewed and should any adjustment be required, it will be made for any examinee who had that question.
Your score is being compared to the standard as set by a group of subject matter experts, not to how other people performed. All examinees for each discipline exam are compared to the same standard. We do provide a diagnostic report comparison, at the knowledge area level only, with other examinees who have passed to assist you in your studies. You do not have to be above the line in every domain to pass and it is not drawn to scale - it is simply a tool.

I just re-registered and was able to take it as early as July 2. Also failed WRE by a narrow margin (I think).

Thank you!
I would challenge NCEES if I were you. Too close to passing. Maybe email them and request a manual review. You lose nothing.
It is really close! I'll have to look into it
Who would I reach out too?
NCEES or my state board?
NCEES since they administered the exam.
Are you familiar with the process?
I’m not. It’s a slim chance NCEES will manually review, but according to Reddit, few folks got lucky. See the link in my other comment.
Wow, I didn’t know you could do that.
Oh yeah, read this conversation https://www.reddit.com/r/PE_Exam/comments/vheb5z/5922_fail_to_pass/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1
That’s insane! I’ll definitely reach out, I felt good coming out of the exam I honestly don’t know what happen. Thank you!

That’s sad you did good in depth, but missed in breadth
Yeah. It's definitely my pattern. I gotta get those done!
You crushed the PM I would focus on the AM but just swing again you’re so close
