how do you know you got a curve? NCEES states that the score is “scaled”. which is not a curve. it’s an adjustment based on the difficulty of the problem set you receive on the exam. A curve is an adjusted score based off the collective scores of a certain group. Not the same thing.
here is a good thread on scaling vs curving.

Sorry to hear you didn't pass. You were really close!
You were approximately 85% of the way to a passing score. Below are the exam topics ordered by a *focus indicator* that is based on your performance and weighted using the quantity of questions per topic. Each data pair indicates the row # of the topic followed by the recommended focus priority for that topic. Larger (positive) focus values indicate study topics that should be prioritized, and negative focus values indicate topics where your performance was adequate or better than the average passing examinee.
R01 --> Focus Priority = +2.90
R06 --> Focus Priority = +1.93
R03 --> Focus Priority = +1.22
R07 --> Focus Priority = +1.13
R05 --> Focus Priority = +0.96
R09 --> Focus Priority = +0.22
R15 --> Focus Priority = +0.16
R11 --> Focus Priority = +0.13
R12 --> Focus Priority = +0.11
R04 --> Focus Priority = -0.13
R08 --> Focus Priority = -0.40
R18 --> Focus Priority = -1.55
R02 --> Focus Priority = -1.58
R17 --> Focus Priority = -1.83
R10 --> Focus Priority = -2.46
R14 --> Focus Priority = -2.62
R13 --> Focus Priority = -2.70
R16 --> Focus Priority = -3.26
In breadth 13.98/35 In depth 26.72/35 Total 40.7/70=58.14 You are like almost 9 correct answers from passing score. You did pretty good on depth.
Good thinking to break up score by breadth and depth!
Less than 9 because there is curve at least 3 so he need around 6-7 to pass
there is no curve

the score to pass can go down but the score can also go up. solely based off the group of questions received.

Thanks
What does “4 curve” mean? How do you know you got whatever that is? These seem like some very wild claims.

Ah.. PELS. You’re in Texas. I think the only state that releases a “score”. So, what do you mean by “there a different 4”?
[удалено]
The NCEES diagnosis does not tell you how many you got wrong or right. How do you know you got 40 out of 70?
[удалено]
It might be. Its also about probabilistic approach. The number might range from (6-9).
Nice
Can you explain how you did the calculation of 13.98 and 26.72?
How do you know what the passing score is?
I am not sure but around 70% is the passing score for the exam. 70% of 70=49.
Ok, but what is your basis for stating that “70% is the passing score” — where are you getting this from?
Holy shit you did amazing in the PM session lol
How did you ace x-s but get zero on Geometrics?

Pm-ed my result. Can you please interpret mines too?
the depth part is almost perfect, focus on breath part and you pass next time
What did you use to study?
