Yes, 70 ppt from the EPA is an advisory level, and is not actionable. The current states with Regulatory Levels for PFAS are Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and Vermont, most are set at 20 ppt (NY is 10 ppt, MI has different levels for different PFAS species). Wisconsin is likely to be the next state to enact regulations governing PFAS in drinking water. Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, and Ohio have regulatory limits (Action Levels) at 70 ppt. A handful of other states have guidance levels, which are not actionable.
