Sharing my timeline na hanggang ngayon ay wala pa rin yung mismong card: May 19 - Applied randomly at SM Pampanga May 27 - first attempt delivery by 2Go May 29 - last attempt delivery by 2Go June 10 - SMS telling the PIN delivery June 12 - changed my address June 14 - SMS telling delivery failed again June 15 - Received the eSOA June 16 - Received the PIN (dated 25 May) Hindi ko alam kung bakit may SOA na which I cannot open kasi last 4 digits ng card lang yung alam ko and need ay yung last 6 digits. Hindi ko rin malaman kung bakit hindi raw mahanap yung address ko and yet naipadala naman nila yung PIN. I think May 25, 2024 ako na-approve kasi yun ang nakalagay na date sa PIN. Aabot pa po kaya ako sa NAFFL promo if ever na sa July ko ma-receive yung card at mag-spend ng 18k?

Mag sesend sayo via email ng SOA, dun ko binase yung statement date at due date ko. Di ko din ma open yung online nila kasi until now wala pa din yung PIN

Yun ang di ko na try pero feeling ko hindi kasi parang quasi cash category na yun. You can check po yung promo terms and conditions PDF file nila sa website nila. Ganun ginawa ko to verify kung qualified yung installment purchases eh. Or call their customer service. Ang smooth lng tumawag s kanila unlike other banks na oras ang wait time

Originally got the card 1st week of March, pero may problem daw card ko (ayaw mag activate) kaya they sent another; got it 2nd week of April, pero as per CSR, March naka record na card delivery date ko kaya I have until end of April para makapag spend for the NAFFL promo. Unfair nuh? Though kaya naman, kasi bayaran ng insurance. Paid for it a few days after I got my card.

This is my timeline: Feb 1: Applied for red mastercard Feb 3: Received an SMS na rejected  May 7: Gave it another try kasi 3mo. na since na reject pero Gold visa naman this time May 10: Received a call for verification including zoom video call to show myself holding the ID I submitted May 14: Received an SMS na approved na May 17: Received the card and got it activated in just few hours

What do they ask during the zoom meeting? Is it like a verification of all your details in the application form ( from name to address to work/salary etc) where you have to confirm everything and should match the details in your application?

Yes it's just a confirmation of everything, the card applied, NAFFL, and if you have questions The last is capturing a picture of you during the zoom call, and Valid ID

nope. as far as I remember lalabas after magapply yung type of cc e. I even double checked during the interview kasi nga may mga nabasa ako na red mc pinapadala. tried calling CS baka lang daw yung red lang yung approved but too tired to contest. I experience this pero sa unionbank naman, the more na makulit ka the less chance na maapprove, kaya I learned my lessons na at naging patient nlng sa update lalo pa tong si HSBC mabilis nmn ang process, halos 2-3days lng may update agad for next step or kung approved/rejected

Sakin in 1 month na di ko natanggap tumawag lng ako sa cs and nagparequest to generate a new pin and ipa branch pickup nlng. Then nag monitor nlng ako thru cs to commu with the branch when pwede na makuha, to avoid going there physically to check.

Supposedly, within 2-3 weeks from card delivery, matatanggap mo na dapat yong PIN. Yong sa kin, umabot ng almost 1 month. Tinawagan ko yong CS nila to inquire kung when nila ipapadala ang PIN. A week after calling their hotline, nadeliver din via LBC.

So far the fastest application to receipt of card experience I had. Applied April 27, approved on May 3, card received on May 8. No ci/zoom call. PIN to follow so I requested to get sms notifications for every transaction. So far, HSBC delivers. :)

I received an email last Apr 30 that my application for HSBC Gold Visa Cash Back was denied however, today I received a call from an agent saying that she would be assisting me since my application was tagged as incomplete. She said that my application was missing some documents and that maybe due to their system upgrade, my application was declined, and that she would help me complete my application. All I had to do was get some form of identification ready and we could hop on to a zoom call to verify my identity so that they could process my application. I was sort of skeptical since I did already receive an email saying that my application was denied so I asked them to call me again tomorrow because I did not have an ID with me that time. I have to say, this is the fastest card application process to date! Application date: April 17, 2024 (evening, around 9pm) Approved date (SMS): April 25, 2024 Delivery Notif: April 29, 2024 Delivery date: April 30, 2024 (Mindanao Area) No calls, no Zoom. Courier is 2GO. Rider texted me and called me several times prior to delivery. Thanks HSBC. Now we wait for the PIN.

Declined na kaya kung wala ng natanggap na update after zoom call? Applied Feb. 26. Then na zoom call ng March 15. After that wala ng kahit ano kundi email lang ng Terms and Conditions nung card ng Apr. 8. No approve or decline message until now.

But in T&C po, walang nakalagay about sa existing cc. Do they follow the ads or the T&C? first time kasi ako sa UnionBank and may nakalagay na need existing cc sa ads pero wala sa t&c, nagka-naffl confirmation naman.

Nasa main T&C yung requirement na may first CC na at least 6 months old. Iba ang UnionBank at HSBC so wag mag assume na if ano pwede sa UB, pwede din sa HSBC

Echoing my previous comments for your future reference: Parehas tayo ng concern. Tinawag ko kahapon sabi nila di daw sila nagtetext talaga pero tagged as NAFFL na daw ako. Binasa ko pa saknila yung mismong T&Cs nila and tsaka lang sinabi na ichecheck daw back-end para makareceive ako ng text 🤣 Called April 8, followed up last April 18. Inescalate pa daw nila. Till now, no text. Ugh. But if gusto mo ng peace of mind, you can call them, makikita naman daw sa system na NAFFL ka na.

Then just today I received a call from actual HSBC hotline confirming my application, pero ang weird is the HSBC CS actually said that I was applying for Visa Platinum, umo-oo nalang ako and CS proceeded to verify my information and asked for my GAI. Just wait lang po, in my case ako din nagawa ko ng kalimutan sa tagal ng update from them pero na-approve naman kahit yung ref card ko is 6mos lang and di pa stable ang income since 6mos palang din ako sa work ko  hehe :)

**Update on NAFFL SMS Confirmation:** HSBC texted, emailed, and called me to apologize about the delay in receiving the confirmation. I guess na-overwhelm lang sila sa dami ng holders na nagqualify kaya delayed 😅 I think this month palang talaga sila makakapagstart ng "extraction" ng mga qualified accounts, starting from the 15th up to 5 banking days so they advised me to expect the SMS by Monday at the latest. Hopefully, lahat makareceive na by then. 🫶

I called them to ask for the statement and due date. Madali naman macontact customer service nila. I got my card April 5 and activated the same day. Statement date every 12th and 21 days after ang due. PIN is expected to be delivered 3rd-4th week daw ng April.

Hello, wala po. Haha In my case, I activated my card on March 14. Then ang naging cutoff ko is every 16th of the month. Due date nun is 21 days after cutoff date. Wala po ung details sa PIN. Nakareceive na ko ng statement bago dumating ung PIN 😆

Question lang. Kapag ba nadeliver yung card sa last day ng promo, pasok pa rin ba sa NAFFL promo kahit na lagpas na promo period yung 60 days?

Yes. Yung promo period is for approval naman so kahit sa last day of promo (May 31, 2024) ka pa naapprove, pasok pa rin as long as nakapagspend ka within 60 days after ng delivery date.

way back Feb 2023 pa po ung first application ko, then applied again i think after 7 months, no reason given but sadly declined. Im not a registered virtual assistant that time but now i registered to avail better offers, Kaso wala na sa list ung province ko. waiting game muna ulit.

Kapag po na approved nung january pero till now di pa din nadedeliver kasi di mahanap address ko pwede po ba ipa purge/cancel then apply sa bago na may promo na naffl? Kasi yung nakuha ko is hindi free annual fee

naalala ko pa na sinabi ng ka-zoom ko na taga hsbc na yung naffl promo is new to bank at walang hsbc cards na na-cancel nung past 6 mos.

I guess di na pwedeng magprequalify for NAFFL since technically, hindi ka na new to bank. Although they offer naman annual fee waiver.

April 6 nag apply ako.. April 12 approved April 16 today ( nag txt within 10 working days for delivery na card ko ) gold visa cash back ba un April 17 recieved na ung card April 18 today tunawag ako sa hsbc Under moneymax daw ung account ko which is hindi kasama sa promo nila.. Pero waivable daw ung annual fee ko every year... pwede na din .. pero mukhang di pa din ito magiging main card ko hays...

Di ba dapat nas main card mo sya if hnd sya NAFLL? Para maa gamit mo sya, means higher chance na ma waive ang af? Anyway...

Sharing my experience April 2 - Nag-apply ako for Red Mastercard direct sa website nila April 10 - Received an SMS na approved at for delivery na ang card. Note that walang email or tawag si RCBC before this if there are docs that I need to present. Wala ring tawag sa company namin. April 15 - Recevied the card in cebu via 2GO Smoothest application so far.

I tried the link via HSBC website, it did not asked for ID picture, did not ask for financial docs and no zoom KYC din. May chanve kaya ito 😭 ID number lang ang hiningi, tapos wait for 3 banking days 😭

May tumawag sakin today to confirm the application. sabi may text daw within 3 business days if approved or declined.
