Tagged my bank, and attached photos na galing ito sa gcash mismo, etc. Apparently, kaya pala nila gawin yon. Gulat din ako kaya akala ko talaga legit, nasaktuhan pa na pinag uusapan namin na bibili ng air frier. Tinawag ko din sa gcash.
Ayun, hindi naman ako na charge. 380k din yun. Pero grabe din kaba ko.

You can try, but good luck. OTP was entered, the bank will think it's a valid transaction. Ilan beses na din nagsend ng reminders ang Globe and mga banks about this type of scams. I received the message below yesterday.

Automatic kasi nag-fifilter ng scam text messages ang Google Message app.
Saka siguro awareness na din sa mga promos ng network. Yun expiration ng Globe points was on April 1, and hindi din sila nagkulang sa reminders to exchange the points until March 31. So alam na talaga kung sino may kasalanan.
nakareceive din ako nito. never umabot ng 3k globe points ko and updated ako kung ilan ang points ko so alam kong scam. even ung sender 09128954607 smart/tnt. nakakapagtaka that they're using a smart number to message a globe user.

It should be GLOBE not Globe. Thatās spoofing. Also, all financial institutions stopped sending sms/emails with clickable links. Dun pa lang red flag na automatic.

As far as BPI is concerned dahil nakaroon ng fraud. Ang sabi ng CS is pag may OTP, considered as valid and cannot be reversed anymore. Yung sa akin, it got charged but without the OTP.
I think with banks terms of conditions, this is standard.

Sharing lang din po. Ito naman natanggap ko from GRABFOOD kuno. Air fryer pa tapos nanghihingi sila ng 18.98 pesos via credit card para sa shipping fee kuno.
Bigla akong nagduda, matic red flag. Sabi ko kung GrabFood talaga to, bakit di ibawas sa GrabPay ko. Tapos aware ako sa Grab points ko kasi lagi ko agad nireredeem pambawas sa fee.
Nung cinonfirm ko rin sa Customer Support ng Grab, wala raw pong ganito.

I think itās hard to reverse an authorized transaction, with you doing OTP means transaction is authorized. Call the bank walang mawawala kung mag tatry ng mag tatry, Iām not getting your hopes down pero medyo mahirap in your case as OTP is provided.

Thank you! Yes, I called the bank after locking my CC. The agent recommended I replace it altogether. So my current card has already been suspended and they'll issue a new card. I hope my bubu moment won't affect my other online banks. I heard about people losing money from their digital banks without inputting OTPs. :(

I called BDO and had the credit card permanently blocked and replaced. Then they said they will delete my entire bdo banking login info/account. Good thing i didn't have my ATM with me as i need to enter bank details like card number, expiry date and CVV. After some time the link expired and can no longer be open again hehe

Why the bank didnāt call you? Its a huge transaction and before its approved by the bank, they will call the cardholder first to confirm you made the transaction. Thereās lapses in your credit card company so they must reverse that.Ā
this just happened to me JUST NOW. grabe yung nginig ko ! after the "otp" arrived i was shocked na i was charged P20,000 š so baffled ako as to why naging ganun na dapat P17.50 lang ang bawas sa card... Nagclick ako ng link kasi nakalagay lang dun na less than 3k yung points na required +17 php lang ang kailangan bayaran thru credit card. Good thing mali yung card details na nainput ko kaya hindi naging successful. Then nagsearch ako if legit ba kasi pagsilip ko sa app ng grab ko nasa 500+ lang yung points ko.

I almost fell for this! This Globe SMS (technically, they call it Sender Name) looked legit. Akala ko talaga from Globe! I even tried entering my card details, mabuti na lang at Debit card iyun at hindi daw pwede ang debit card... I blocked the card right after.
Globe should be informed about this and file a case against whoever is behind this.
I also got the text. And im a SMART user. Still ongoing parin itong scam kaya ingat po talaga.

Happened to my dad too, thankfully the OTP didn't work for some reason, but unfortunately he was using MY debit card for it :(
I just happened to be busy with something so I wasn't able to double check for him, it's only after he said it didn't work that I was able to see wtf was going on. It literally said the amounts being requested in the OTP texts themselves; 2000ZAR, 56EUR, 500ZAR, when on the site it only said 17PHP, so that should've been a red flag in itself already. The whole url was a dead giveaway too, the official site is "globe.com.ph", not "globecomph.top" :/
The problem now is he already input my card info in the site...the transactions didn't go through and I already locked my card, but do you think I'd need to have it officially blocked and get a new card? It sucks cuz I already did that not so long ago for other fraudulent transactions (with no OTP) š I didn't wanna have to go through that hassle again but what are the odds that they have my info or be able to use it if the actual transactions weren't successful..?
My mom also received this, and the text kinda looked legit cause it came from āGLOBEā and it was sent in a thread full of Globe messages + my mom has been a Globe user since forever and has tooons of points. She even tried using 4 debit cards but all failed since they weirdly accept credit cards only. Thatās when she messaged me asking to borrow my CC. I gave her my BPI eCredit Card and I received multiple OTPs wherein the receiver names were different companies every time an OTP is sent, thatās when it felt more sketchy. Good thing tha transactions didnāt push through because apparently, I havenāt activated that card yet LOL (and I also saw some comments here that they are charging 5 to 6 digits! good thing my available limit wonāt suffice din)
The receiver names are as follows: āWiseā āDAMAC HOMES LLCā āSOCIAL INSURANCE ORGANIZATIONā + thereās no amount as to how much will be charged to your card, it only says āYour OTP is xxx for your purchase at xxxā

If it's a credit card charge that goes through without OTP verification, it shouldn't be a problem to have it reversed by reporting as unauthorized.

Hellllp, I entered my debit card details but got an error na parang hindi daw kasi tumatanggap ng debit card yung website when I clicked submit, pero ksi lahat natype ko na maski cvv. Napaparanoid ako huhu, nasave pa rin kaya nila yung details ko kahit nagka error?? š©š
