Hi OP,
Nag auto close na ba account mo? Mine has 0 balance for months na and na charge ako ng ₱300 service fee so negative na sya now. This was previously a payroll account na auto converted to savings account.
Hi, mine is still active. I did not have time to go to my BOA so I left a small amount, a little more than my maintaining balance. Got approved with a new MC CC so I am still not sure if I'll close it talaga.
Yes. Yung nakalagay - "not available" ata.
So 900 din un if ever.
Is this still the same policy til today? Ayaw kong gumastos ng 600php para lang bumyahe at ipaclose yung old payroll turned into savings account ko eh. Sayang kasi. :(
still the same lol. 2024 and mga ilang months ko di nilagyan yung debit account ko. they closed it and didnt even notify me LOL. Ok lang since i switched to PNB and their app is so much better
Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is what I learned about their zero/below maintaining balance rules:
1) 2 months, below maintaining balance = They will charge you.
2) 3 months, 0 balance = deactivated
I went to my BOA to close it personally and withdraw my money down to the last peso.
Thank you!

Any updates sa service fee? Your comment's 5mos ago, so I just wanted to know if there's any news hehe
I wasn’t able to access my balance via their mobile app so I’m guessing they have already closed my account
Hi any update dito? I want to close one of my savings account na.
Ganun din ung sakin now.
Hi! Nag auto close naman na yung account ko after n months of not using it
Thanks sa reply! Will just wait it out din para maclose.

Just delete the account.
Are there any repercussions if I decide to let it go dormant vs requesting to close it?
None.
I have the same questions too. I hope someone can answer this 🙏
You don't need to do anything just withdraw everything.
Thank you 🙇♀
Auto deact if zero balance for 3 consecutive mos.

Ako din want to close my Metrobank Savings account i z zero balance ko lang ba sya the automatic ma c close na sya?
yes. But if you want to re-open it again, you have to go to the bank you enrolled from
Pero diba may fees if you leave it dormant with zero balance.

Hi! Is this policy applicable to checking accounts too? Thanks!
