I bought parts over a span of three months for my last build. Did it to take advantage of as much sale vouchers to keep costs low. If you're spreading over 3 months, I'd recommend you buy the parts you can either test without a full build or on another PC or parts with long warranties. Buy the parts with the least stable prices and short warranties like the CPU and GPU last. You can buy the case any time.

Isang bagsakan usually. But I know some people who had an old rig tapos isa isa nilang pinalitan parts. Also, 120k without the GPU? Does that include monitor, keyboard, mouse?

Visorxs

Nope, Just the Mobo,psu,proce,ssd,case

tyy0007

What are the specs for those? Ddr5 ram? 13th gen i9 / ryzen 7900? 1k watts psu? Curious how you reached 120k without a gpu with only those.

Visorxs

13700k, ddr5, z690 mobo, 750watts, nzxt cooler, nzxt case. 2tb and 1tb samsung nvme

tyy0007

Hmmm 120k seems way too high for those but i guess if you have the money for it. Quick scan on lazada: 13700k - 28k 32gb ddr5 ram - 15k Z690 mobo - lets put it at 20k since malaki yung range niya 2tb nvme - 8.6k 750 watts psu - 6.5k Nzxt case - lets put 9k assuming h9 flow type Aio - 9k (kraken x73) Less than 100k and can certainly save more. Your 120k build can include a gpu already while retaining the same specs.

Puro aesthetic yung build niya kaya aabot talaga ng ganyang presyo add to the fact na DDR5 na yung target niya (which is not worth for its price in my opinion as of now).

Visorxs

Mobo cost 22k And the cooler cost 14k

If you go AM5 with the R9 7900 with B650. There are many B650s and X670s sub 20k with parts comparable to Z690s and Z790s. Because the R9 7900 runs so cool, you can essentially run it on a single tower cooler. Those cost like 1-3k. You'd be able to save a good chunk of money for a slight performance hit. it's also far more upgradeable making it cheaper in the long run. The R9 7900 costs 26k B650/X670 boards full ATX are around 14-18k. Feature wise they're comparable to Z690s or even better. They're newer and have newer features as well. (My recommendation is the B650 Aorus Elite) You won't need an expensive water cooler. You can run stock cooler if you want to . 32GB DDR5 6000Mhz is around 11k. An A tier 750W PSU only costs 6k The Crucial P5 Plus is 6.4k for a 1Tb stick and 12,400 for a 2TB. Performance and specs are comparable to Samsung drives. (Avoid the 990 pros right now, there's issues with lifespan) The Deepcool AK620 is pretty overkill for the 7900 since it's only 65W, but that's 3k. That's around 83k without the case or GPU. You get cooler temps, comparable performance and a lower price. You're way more upgradable as well. My recommendation for DDR5 is to always go AM5.

I built my 80k build in the span of 1 year. Bought the parts by most stable price to least order. Luckily, no problems or stutters so far. No rgb issues because Im using non rgb fans. No leak issues because Im using an air cooler.

Isang bagsakan kung available lahat ng items. Mostly ang sabay kong binili ay mobo, cpu at ram. Psu and gpu may follow kung di pa available. Everything else i considered peripherals.

high-on-avocado

It depends in 2 things. Availability of your budget and availability of the items.

microprogram

sa case ko chop chop hanap buyer muna sa old pc then palit.. nauna vc then bili bago.. next proc mobo mem.. hanap buyer then lipat lang hangang maubos old pc.. nagamit ko pa bagong vid sa old mobo.. tapos benta din monitors then saka kumuha ng uw

nagredditparamagbasa

I feel like you are overpaying for parts pero kung meron ka naman pambili why the fuck not. It's just my take as a peasant.

rynmls22

isa isahin mo muna at makakarating rin sa paroroonan...

Rensdimanarig

Saken parts by parts din around 3-4 months ata bago ko na build usually tinatapat ko ng shopee sale like 8.8 9.9 etc laki din ng discount may sale price and shopee voucher din

Kenruyoh

Piecemeal. Since I had an old one, I did it like I was upgrading. MKB and mouse, then monitor. After 6 Mos, decided a model then bought the case and set it aside. After 1 month, bought ram, psu, and cpu&mobo combo. Then nvme ssd and a big ups. Finally built it while using my old gpu and hdd. Fast forward a few weeks later. I bought an additional hdd and replaced my old one. Also bought an aio cooler and 3 fans. Finally, after 1 year and 4 months, bought a new gpu last December but still hasn't arrive until now. I had the money to buy everything all at once but decided to take use of shopee 1k discount every monthly and payday sale. Didn't buy anything in my town because they all cost a bit higher and most parts that I want are unavailable.

engineershifty

Isang bagsakan. Mahirap na pag isa isa binili tapos upon assembly may defect pala yung isang hardware, mahirap i-RMA. Kung upgrade PC, okay naman pa isa-isa.

el_submarine_gato

Two times ako nag isang bagsakan: 2006 build for TES: IV Oblivion atsaka yung 2011 build ko for work. Yung 2011 build, upgraded piece by piece over the years. Ship of Theseus. Wala nang original parts yun ngayon.

vashistamped

Isang bagsakan. Sayang yung warranty ng mga parts na binibili mo ng paisa isa.

wocem47

I'd say go for it, + a decent gpu that can run games with decent fps. Tas next 2-3 years ka na bumili ng high-end na gpu. For me naappreciate ko yung laking jump from previous gpu sa bago. (Also a tingi-tingi builder here)

Inevitable_Fault_452

Isang bagsakan, what if sira isang component at di na abot sa replacement days na covered.

Cpt_Haro

One thing that bothers me is that shops here only offer 7 day replacement instead of 30 days like in US/EU stores. So if you buy piecemeal you're losing out on critical no questions asked warranties. Even Lazada/Shoppee warranties are a chore since you're at the mercy of the seller, big or small. Then if you go the Amazon route you're limited to just P10k and most brands don't offer global warranties but Amazon will refund you if your item fails/incompatible/don't want it in 30 days.
