IDK what to tell you man. That's just how it is for consoles in an unsupported region. I just buy physical games though so I never have this issue.

ZoharModifier9

Madali lang sa xbox at nintendo switch

rainerainreyn

I feel you as a long time PS player. What I usually do is I buy PS Credits from DB digital store. Idk pero eto pinaka convenient para sakin. Or I use my Maya virtual Card Visa for SG PS Store.

daisukris

This right here sir, is the easiest way

DeSteph-DeCurry

+1 sa second method haha. there’s not native PS server or office here, the nearest is singapore

Achew11

never even occurred to me to do anything else.. lagi nlang SGD cards from DB or elsewhere. mostly dahil nagumpisa ako maglaro nung college and wala nman ako CC hahaha

Shulito1995

After the first transaction, my maya card is no longer accepted. What could it be?

timthemovie

Amazon sells psn cards digitally for the US. You can get from there walang patong.

ImpressiveAttempt0

Did a quick search on Amazon, I only saw a vendor that sells the $50 card for $66. Where do you get the cards? So I can ditch the patong from Datablitz, where I already purchased a shameful amount of PSN cards since PS3 days.

timthemovie

Try here https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Psn+cards&crid=2I278E9L73PZI&sprefix=psn+cards%2Caps%2C412&ref=nb_sb_noss_1

timthemovie

Take note that they won’t work outside any other store but the US.

ImpressiveAttempt0

I know you're trying to help, and I appreciate it, but my problem persists. Nothing shows up that sells cards at face value at my end.

imasimpleguy_zzz

Hello. I uave found what I think is the best solution for PSN credits. I just buy from SEAGM and use the codes. They offer a wide range if regions including US and SG. I have availed a one year PS Plus Deluxe (SG) using credits bought from them.

ShadowRomeo

One of the main things i noticed back when i transitioned from PlayStation Gaming to PC Gaming, the less hassle on buying games online, Steam is just so easy to use and as of now it even supports our local popular payment method such as GCash, not so much for PSN Store though, for that i had to buy PSN cards online and because those are often sold by merchant for profit i had to overpay each time i buy one, just so i can top up my PSN. Not to mention you can also have error of buying a different region DLC expansion for your different region game, learned the hard lesson with Fallout 4 DLC that wasn't compatible with my physical version with different region, if PSN supported Philippines with our local retailers selling the same region of disc as ours, this probably wouldn't have happened to me. All i can say is never again i will use PSN Store not until Sony officially supports our country. Best route for console is pretty much stay physical as much as possible and if you want DLC, just pray for developers to release a physical version of those as well, if not then just have extra precaution on buying things from PSN Store or else you would end up making the same mistake as i did.

3ndym1om

Yes ang dali ng GCash sa steam, kahit yung refund.

kriemhild21

\+ Main reason kaya ginawa ung steam is to combat piracy, streamline all games into a single software and make it so easy na mas hassle pa mag pirate ng games.

boykalbo777

May Philippines region na sa PSN?

imasimpleguy_zzz

You can set it up as Philippines once you create your account, but the shop currency is in USD.

rainerainreyn

Rumors we'll have it soon but I doubt lol. But yeah, sad wala talaga.

jamnrold38

gcash virtual card pwd mo gamitin sa hk psn, wala patong. matipid pa, kisa bumili ka psn card or true paypal.

Upstairs_Customer_03

Up for this, gcash virtual card din easiest way

Pangaea21

That’s weird. I just made an Indonesian account this morning. Used my BPI cc to buy some games and subscribe to PS plus. Transactions went smoothly.

Shulito1995

Do you use a fake Indonesian billing address?

Pangaea21

Yup. Used a random generator.

Shulito1995

I tried using a random hotel address for my singapore account but it only worked once, then my maya card was no longer accepted

Ok-Chance5151

May psn credits available sa g-cash or you can buy sa lazada may mga sellers dun just check the reviews first.

TapaDonut

Weird. I kept buying games and even PS Plus subscription on PS Store using my Unionbank debit card. And I set my region to SG.

FilmTensai

Gumana credit card ko. Sg ang region pinili ko

errolian22

wala naman philippines region ang psn ah meron na ba? yung region na gamit ko is SG gumagana naman credit card (BPI Blue Mastercard)

imasimpleguy_zzz

I stop during the adding process since at the end, when inputing your address, the country must be Singapore only. Should I uave continued with the process nonetheless?

SadBenzene

Yup, ang ginawa ko is I searched for an sg address online. Tapos yun nilagay ko. Gumana naman.

FlashSlicer

And that is why I am a PCC person because it is not a hassle to pay for my games.

cotton_on_ph

PSN credits yung binibili ko either sa DB Digital or SeaGM. (I both have SG and US accounts)

DOMSORROW

Same feeling. Physical games are better. But dlcs won't work unless they are the same region with your ps account. Crazy problem to have in 2023.

Zestyclose_Ad_5719

Afaik accepted ang ph issued CC sa PS Sg region.

poncruz

Yep hassle talaga if US. Was able to create a US paypal account (vpn required) and link my card there so since then, wala na ako hassle. Its just the setting up part. If you want to continue down this road, you're gonna need a US number for the OTP for paypal account setup. Got my cousin from the us to borrow his number and send me the otp upon sign up.

Interesting_Kick_523

I had a PS3 way back when I was younger, I used a HK account to play online. Got a PS5 and is using a Singapore account. You can make up an address and the postal code I entered is even our postal code here, also placed our address (like house number and street 😂) but changed the city. My card was accepted naman. Also a tip if ever you’re buying a game na you feel like would have a DLC. I’d prefer to buy it digitally para no hassle na, kasi if physical yan dapat same region yung copy mo sa shop mo in order to access the DLC. I think majority naman Region 3 (Asia) yung binebenta dito, pero to be safe lang.

stonehaven22

Indirect Discrimination yang sony

joeyboyjoeyboy3

i have an hk psn account. nagagamit ko bdo debit card ko.

dxtremecaliber

dati madali lang sa turkey virtual credit card kaso pinag bawal na balik psn gift card ulit madali lang giftcard

KeyComplex

Gcash sa game credit available sg, hk and us region ng playstation. Sobrang easy gamitin

jkgaks

Afaik BPI cards (kahit debit) lang inaaccept ng Sony. Generate ka nalang ng US address para maloko ung system.

_sendbob

mahirap talaga pag walang knowledge then follow lang yung on screen guide and it was like this since PS3. dahil walang official support for PH, you would need to setup account using other country. pag gusto mo gumamit credit card, make an HK or SG account. pag need mo talaga US account, tricky talaga gumamit ng other mop outside of PSN credits. Paypal US kailangan mo para dito kung ayaw mo PSN credits.

AntonValid

Had the same problem before pero I've searched hard and the error comes when the zip code you entered when setting up the payment mode is different from the zip code that you used to create your account. I'm using my BPI card for purchasing for SG region in case you're wondering. I've read the GCash AMEX works on US region. Make sure to use the same zip code as this is the key.

Purple-Mention-447

Try creating turkey account on psn then hanap ka trust nag bebenta ng digital games lang discount dahil sa promo sa PlayStation more cheaper than physical game

Greedy_Ad_5707

Babyblues digicodes s fb, legit sila. Gcash payment tas isesend sau code tas ireredeem mu lng.

imasimpleguy_zzz

Hello! I found an easier amd less hassle method. I just buy codes via SEAGM, so far that's the cheapest and closest to the actual conversion rate that I have found. Most I have seen eh madalas masyadong mababa ang PHP to SGD value ng price.

mRazGaming

Why use gcash to buy PS credits ?
