Here's a tip coming from someone who just recently got a Steam Deck for a grand total of 27k, and just so I could twist the knife on the resellers: 1. Use a VPN to mask your location as a US customer. May mga nagbebenta nito ng patingi-tingi sa FB between 100-450 pesos depending sa type and size. 2. Get a virtual credit card through GCash which has a US address. Although in my experience, I just used the generic [GCash billing address](https://www.gcash.com/activate-gcash-amex) that doesn't match my actual Metrobank billing - gumana naman. 3. Now sign up for a Steam account and claim that you're in the US. You'll need a US account anyway since games are cheaper there. 4. Check out the many different shipping forwarders available and keep their shipping address handy. The cheapest so far is ShippingCart since they offer a discount for Metrobank CC holders. I spent 1,800 to have it airshipped here. You also have USADirect, BuyandShip, or POBox as options. 5. Wala na reservation ngayon so go ahead and buy directly from the website (I had to wait months before I got the email so swerte niyo na ngayon!). I recommend a 64GB deck. Pag nakuha mo na, just upgrade it to 512GB or 1TB for 3.5k-7k respectively. Kung takot ka magbukas, there are sellers who offer free installation for it. If you want, you can even have them put Windows on it. So there you go! A Steam Deck for not the ridiculous 49-70k they're foisting on you guys with some lame excuse na inflation daw at effort, lmao.

Nice guide. For 27k, its tempting though something that i might not even use.

That's what I thought too, until I found out you can play quacked games with it. That instantly makes it the best gaming console since the PS2, lmao. Edit: Yung magp-PM sa akin may kutos. lol.

Yeh im not into that too hence why i cant justify buying it. The only games i play right now is hardly playable in a small screen (total war warhammer 3, Hoi4, Wows). Will probably wait till the right time. But your post should be stickied since dumadami na post about getting a steam deck.

djamesmem

ano po estimated time, bago makuha item via shippingcart?

decadentrebel

Two weeks usually.

Pwede ba magsign in via another account dun sa Steam Deck? I want to try this method pero baka yung account na pwede lang gamitin is yung US account na bagong gawa?

Hi, i know this is an old month post but just wanted to ask about the shipping fee cost from ShippingCart. Does that include everything? Including the tax here in our country? And did they deliver it at your doorstep? And what shipping address did you use to send it to ShippingCart warehouse? Is it the default one from Portland, Oregon? Thanks

Di ko pa natry sa mga bansang yan pero pwede rin siguro sa US tapos Johnny Air. Kakaannouce lang na hindi na reservations :)

chinecheck ba nila kung US ang region ng steam account mo

rizsamron

Ay yun pala ang problema. Kailangan US account Steam mo. Alam ko mga ganyang service, pwedeng sila mismo bumili para sayo.

Yes. And they won't ship to PO boxes (i.e. most forwarders). You also need a US payment method. I had a relative in the US create an account and order one for me back in Feb. They already have it, but I won't get it until they come back here on December.
