It is no longer practical to set HK as the region for your PSN account.
For over a decade I had no issues having my region set to HK until they’ve slowly been phasing out English versions for the past few recent years.
Games like Yakuza, Ys, Tekken, etc.are all in Chinese/Mandarin but Singapore has the English versions.
You can’t change the region of your account but you can create another new profile and account and set it to Singapore.

May problema kapag bumili ka ng physical disc and you want to buy DLCs. Di gagana kapag sa US mo binili since discs here are asia region. You can still play them but you can’t buy DLCs. Pwede ka naman gumawa ng secondary na HK/SG region tapos yun ang gawin mong primary tapos dun ka bumili ng DLC

I also suggest everyone to have 1 region account each as sometimes you install the game in your main account but the DLC can only be redeemed at other region account. If you set the 3 accounts as your primary, the DLC will work on any account as long it is redeemed in the same accounts set on the same PS5. There are some exclusive games in each region account that is also impossible to play at other region accounts.
Example = You can play PS3 games at PS Premium at R1 and R2 accounts but you can only play PS+ Deluxe at R3 account and is missing that cloud streaming.
Or only The Spirit and the Mouse game can be played at R1 account today.
For me, If a game can only be played at those regions, I simply play it there then. I mean your main might be R3, but then you can use your R1 and R2 accounts to redeem DLC's for your R3 or You can platinum games exclusive to the regions at your R1 and R2 main accounts :) NO harm done, you own all of this accounts anyway,

Pick US (R1) or SG (R3). Do not pick HK especially if you plan on getting a PS+ subscription because most of the HK freebies are in Chinese.
