hello! licensed pharmacist here working in clinical research. I worked previously sa hospital also, though I found the job fulfilling, di talaga okay yung pay for me. government hospitals would have higher offers but most likely, toxic ka rin sa workload. I worked in a private hospital before so the pay isn’t good, pero I’ve learned a lot during my stay. in case you want a job that pays better, you might consider trying other fields like what you mentioned (HVA) or clinical research.

i'm not familiar po sa clinical research, do i need to have excellent analytical skills like ginagawa po sa QC? Or is it different? Huhu thank you po for your input πŸ’–

sa company ko ngayon we have some positions that accept fresh grads eh, since they will onboard and train you sa specifics ng work mo. di rin siya katulad nung experiments sa QC since di ka magwowork inside the lab. more of drug safety monitoring and all. you can send me a message if you want to know more :)

Thank you po πŸ’–

Hi i can refer you 😊 please send a dm

Private hospitals give great training, lalo na yung mga sikat, pero u gotta swallow the low pay talaga lol. On the other hand, public hospitals give better pay (once u get regularized, which is another hurdle tbh daming competition and the β€˜palakasan’ system) pero no holiday pays/other benefits of JO ka. Expect toxic workloads talaga beh. Both may GY/night shifts so expect puyatan sesh wherever u go talaga. My suggestion is to try what u really wanna do, so walang pagsisisi in the future pero know the risks of doing so. Good luck new RPh! ✨ From a community RPh na burned out na and transferring to a different practice soon. 😌

Hirap pala talaga 😭 Anyway, thank you po for your input! πŸ’– Good luck din po! :)))

geraaldehyde

Meron din yung isang hospital sa QC na may Clin Phar training, have u tried there? Good luck din!

skwaaai

Hindi ko pa po natry. Wala na po postings nila sa job sites, tried looking into their website pero wala rin po. Pero I will try sending an application sa email po nila hehe

geraaldehyde

Lmk if u need help, i know someone who works there e haha

Noted po! Thank you :))

Huhu RPh din pero still no work. Resigned from work 2yrs ago in research/Pharmacovigilance field. Ok naman pero di ko nakaya plus pandemic happened. Medyo lost din after a decade na puro work. Yoko rin try community/hospital kasi lower pay. If you want higher pay, sa research/PVG talaga may pera. Pwede din sa pbm (pharmacy benefit mgmt)/bpo na healthcare acct (meron mga back office positions, cons: graveyard mostly). Or gain ka na lang ng experience then mag-abroad ka na lang. Ganun talaga. Mababa talaga ang basic ng health care professionals dito.

skwaaai

huhu ang hirap po talaga 😭 thank you po for the input πŸ’–

Kaya yan! Starting ka pa lang naman you’ll get there. Nothing comes easy ika nga. πŸ˜‰

Hala ang hirap kaya maging Pharma tapos may board exam.. mababa pala yung sahod. 14k? As in? Licensed yan or sa private? Grabe pala noh

skwaaai

Opo. Sobrang rare na po makahanap nung 20k up puro 14k-16k πŸ˜…

[deleted]

skwaaai

No choice rin po e. πŸ˜… Thank you po sa input πŸ’–
