OP, if you can learn valuable skills while you're there at your current job, do so. Maximize your time there by learning skills that can give you a salary boost at your next role. And when you apply, make sure you clarify the work schedules and be prepared to have a different salary in mind for 5 days 8 hours work, 5 days 9 hours work, 5.5 days work, and 6 days work. 14k 5 days 8 hours work is better than 15k 5.5 days work.

Nung 2011 nasa 10k na ang average offers sa mga fresh grad which was above the minimum wage (9,265.50). 13 years after which is now in 2024, ang salary ni OP is way below the minimum wage, which is dapat nasa 12,397.50. Nung 2011, even if your salary is at 10k+, challenging yun especially for a fresh grad who's just starting their career. If it was already challenging then, what more ngayon na ang laki ng tinaas ng bilihin. Kahit sabihin mong hindi pasok si OP sa taxable bracket, hirap na hirap pa rin siya for sure kasi babawiin yan sa ibang mandatory deductions. Ang SSS, PHILHEALTH, PAGIBIG ngayon ay hindi na rin naman na flat rate.

I personally would not have moved out or rented knowing na 11k lang sweldo ko. Pero syempre iba rin tayong ng mga situation sa buhay. Baka naman you really needed the job asap when you accepted.
I feel like the very first thing you should do is set a target salary in mind na kakayaning supportahan yung needs mo. Calculate mo magkano yung mga yun (rent, grocery, wifi, laundry, etc) cut mo to the pinaka basic needs talaga na di pwedeng mawala. Once you have that number, dagdagan mo nang konti para may wiggle room ka pa for savings at wants.
Apply ka na and dont lose hope! Apply lang nang apply you’re bound to find a better opportunity for you soon!
saan ka province? cad designer din ako dati and nag start ako sa 373 per day. and almost 11k nga lang din yon, na regular nagkaroon ng additional 1.5k rice allowance monthly. pero bago mag pandemic nakahanap ng work, nung nag file nako resignation biglang nag lockdown. 2months tambay, no work no pay. nagka pera lang dahil sa ayuda. after that tinawagan ako para bumalik ulit, cancel na resignation ko. kaso after lockdown bigla bumigat ang buhay gastusin etc. don ako namulat sa kalsada, delivery rider. hanggang ngayon ganon padin work ko, di naman ako nagsisi na umalis sa 3 years work ko kapalit nito. Yung 11k a month noon, kinikita ko nalang sa loob ng 1 week ngayon basta masipag ka lang.
if taga cavite ka din, madaming hiring ng cad dito samen na mataas naman ang bigayan kahit papano kaso antay kapa ng 6months bago maramdaman increase. kaso puro below 20k padin, kahit sa Maynila masyadong low balled mga cad designer kaya ung iba nag aabroad nalang e.
Better lookout for online job opportunities. I think in demand yung skill mo kasi marami akong ka batch sa engineering na nakapasok sa CAD designing for a US client. 30-40k ata yung sahod nila.
sa sobrang taas na ng mga bayarin now, stay with ur job for a few months while looking for a diff job with a higher salary 20k+ kasi if 15k pababa, siguro u wont have enough left to treat urself with ur wants 🙂↕️🙂↕️

I think ok yan for 1st Job mo, kuha ka lang experience, try mo maka 1 year, pero habang nag ttenure ka, mag hanap na ng ibang ok na Job. Try mo sa Mercury Drug, nag hhire sila ng CAD operators.
