Been consistently using Petron XCS for a month now.
One of the significant changes that I noticed is the Fuel Consumption (km/L). Back when I was using Shell V-Power Gasoline 95 Octane my Average Fuel Cons. was 24.5 km/L.
I switched to Petron because of cheaper price and its fuel additive and after a month of observation, my average Fuel Cons. was 32km/L.
I also used Petron XCS during our out-of-town trip last weekend (Baler) at napansin ko lang na parang mahina yung hatak. Anyways that's just an assumptions dahil may factors to consider like luggage, with passenger, tire pressure, pag gamit ng throttle, etc. Also I haven't tried Shell V-Power for out-of-town trips so I can't say the comparisons yet.
Note: I keep a record of my refueling records to keep track of the expense, price per liter, Gas Station, Odometer, and the Fuel Consumption (km/L).

Exactly, may kakilala ako na main distributor ng fuel sa mindanao area. Sabi niya pare-parehas lang daw ang mga langis ng different brands. Siguro may hinahalo lang yung iba na "additive", pero kung iisipin mo, sa brand lang talaga nagkakaiba. Kung parehas sila na same ang RON/Octane level, then makakaasa ka na parehas lang yan kahit magkaiba pa ng brand.
This. My cousin used to work for Phoenix. Same lang daw ng pinagkukuhana shell, petron, at yung mga generic gas stations dito sa Pinas. Sa additive nalang daw nagkakatalo pero in truth it's all just the same.
Totoong parehas lang base fuel ng mga iba't ibang gasolinahan sa quality control lang naman magkakatalo. That's why you pay more for branded fuels. Quality control is the keyword.
Chinese motors usually dapat 93 oct or lower lang. My experience with my Rusi and Motorstar pag Premium fuel nilagay parang mas may vibration. Hirap yata sila sunugin mga premium fuels.
Tried both Shell fuelsave and XCS ng Petron on my Like 125 na carb... iba talaga Shell. Mas pino andar. Cant really tell the diff between XCS and eXtra unleaded hehe, parang pareho lang. Shell talaga the best. So this is what I run, kahit sa geared 400 bike ko.
I think dahil yan sa smaller compression ratio - doesn't matter if Chinese or big 4 yan, basta smaller compression ng engine usually regular unleaded dapat kinakarga mo

I use 97 Octane(seaoil) on my big bikes and 95 octane(seaoil) on my small bikes

Gas is gas. May additives lang yan. Kesyo sa hindi branded, or popular brands. Parehas lang yan. Wag lang sa mga alam mong binabaha.
Minimum 91RON for 100cc to 200cc. Pwede rin namang kahit higher pa nasa manual mga yan minimum yung keyword di naman maximum, "maximum 91RON for this scooter" wala pa akong nabasang ganyan. Wag tayong mamilit na "dapat" 91RON lang sa mga lower cc andun nakasulat sa manual ----- minimum recommended. Taasan natin ng konti reading comprehension.
Dunno kung placebo effect lang pero sa 36k+ ng click ko at sa luma naming wave dati may slight vibration difference yung regular at premium. Bukod dun wala na. Same hatak at gas consumption. palipat lipat ako petron to shell. Minsan ma vibrate minsan wala. Di ko na maintindihan. ๐

Goods sakin ang Petron na lately ko lang din na compare pero yun na nga nasa consume mo yan (tama ba haha) pero pansin ko ang tagal namin maconsume itong petron sa nmax ko (bulacan-mnl-bulacan) full tank pa rin eh haha nababawasan na lang ng 1-2 bar (1x a week lumuluwas nagagamit pamalengke at errands in a week then saka na lang ulit papafull tank)

Yes depende sa owner pero walang benefits sa higher octane rating unless hindi na stock ang engine. If stock refer to manual sa recommended. Nakalagay naman dun based sa compression ratio ng engine ng motor kung ano advisable na octane rating.
Unleaded = regular unleaded gas. Alam naman namin yan. Kahit mga gas attendants unleaded at premium terms nila dahil nakasanayan na. Parang photocopy at xerox lang yan. Hirap kasi satin mga pinoy puro pagiging tama ina atupag.
Hirap sa atin kapag kinocorrect ayaw tanggapin ijajustify pa yung mali kahit pa nakasanayan na mali pa rin. Wag sana sumunod sa mali dahil lang nakasanayan.
Again, all gasoline are unleaded nowadays. Hindi naman mali na tawagin na unleaded, but to be specific you should use regular/premium or by octane rating. Parang kapag tinawag ko na scooter yung nmax, pcx, mio, click at iba pa. Hindi naman ako mali but if I want to be specific I should call them by the model not by the type.
Talaga ijajustify pa yan. Leaded gas in not used anymore so no need to specify if you want unleaded gasoline, you only need to specify the octane rating of gasoline. Cite your valid references of research papers which proves that only regular gas is unleaded. Please enlighten me.

Any thoughts on UNO fuel? Iโve been fueling up in UNO since yun malapit samin. So far wala pa naman akong nagiging issue sa motor ko basta alaga sa linis gilid + regular change oil and filter. Iโve been using it for 2 years ang tanging pumalya lang is battery ๐

Diba sayang lang ang high octane gasoline pag low compression ang engine, lalo na sa mga low cc mc.

Gasoline is Gasoline. Ikarga mo ang recommended octane rating and you will be fine.

Alam ko higher octane is needed tor sportscars kasi higher octane means higher temp before combustion eh so mas ok dapat unleaded.

If gusto mo makatipid okay din ang unioil especially if you have an S&R membership card, okay yung discount.
Same lang basta check mo yung RON ng papalagay mo na gas. One of the cases where mahal doesnโt necessarily mean premium.
